No, actually it is a fact. Companies cannot simply lie about stuff like this. Their shareholders have to know the true number of consoles sold. If they lied they would be instantly sued.

I don't know why some of you are so up in arms about this. I love my PS3 and my 360 and as long as both of them continue to offer great gaming experiences why should we care which one is on top with sales?
It's true. All three companies report sold to retailers. That is what a sell means for a company, because that is who pays them. It's up to the retailers, in turn, to sell that merchandise to make a profit.
Recorded sales means sales to the retailers. Same as what Nintendo and Microsoft do.
The thing is, Sony used to report production shipments which only told how many units rolled of the assembly lines and were shipped to their warehouses. Now Sony do what Microsoft and Nintendo do and that is report the number of consoles they sell to retailers.

PS3 fanboys threw their own crap when the 360 came out, so let's not pretend PS3 fans are innocent little angels. Not to mention what the Xbox fans had to put up with last generation. I think it is all a matter of perspective. I am a fan of both consoles and I have seen it all. The hate on all sides has to stop. There is no excuse for it. Just because someone else acts like a jerk doesn't mean that you have to act like one.
Actually, Ninja Blade was a pretty good action game. I liked it more than Ninja Gaiden to tell you the truth. Ninja Gaiden has good mechanics but it lacks in almost everything else. Ninja Blade had character and atmosphere and the gameplay was more diverse. Even the plot made more sense than the plot in Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2.
I don't know, I just feel that it got hated on unfairly. It wasn't great, but it was good. Made by the same studio that made Demon's Souls by the way...
