All the Halo games have been quality, so your point is moot.
How did they drop the ball with ODST? Other than the fact it was a little short (like MW2's campaign), I loved ODST. It was the best Halo campaign since Combat Evolved.

Also, I don't see how more players equals a better game. I have never been playing a game of Halo online and thought "you know, this is pretty fun, but I wish it had more players". I think the amount of players now is around the right amount.
Staircase, there are lots of good 360 games that can't be played on the PC, so I don't believe you.
Bungie chose the wrong word when he said "invented", because there were previous shooters on consoles. What Halo did do is bring the shooter genre to a whole new level on consoles. Every shooter after it had a much higher standard to live up to and all of them have borrowed ideas from Halo in one way or another. To this day Halo is still one of the premier shooter franchises on consoles. I really can't wait until Halo Reach comes out.

Mass Effect is one of my favorite games ever. I can't explain some of the feelings it gave me, so I'll just say that I loved it and leave it at that. ME2 is my biggest game this year so this month is very special to me.

That guy is a loser. I'm fine with him saying he doesn't personally like the game, but he has the nerve to act like it is a fact or something that the game isn't good. Screw that.
I love Modern Warfare 2 and millions more do as well. The reason people play a game is because they like it.
Pfft! I play all kinds of shooters online: Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Modern Warfare 2, Halo 3...and Halo is pretty much as hardcore as they come. The gameplay is extremely nuanced and deep. You have to actually play all these games to know what I am talking about.
