I'm sorry, but everything you wrote above is fanboy nonsense. Both consoles are doing very well. I am glad I own them both.
Yes, that is why it has the greatest software attache ratio. Please at least try to make sense.
I love all the consoles equally, but I kind of see what he means. PS3 fans spend the most time on the internet fighting. Where are all the Wii fanboys btw? That console has sold to more people than any of them and I don't see too many Wii fans on the internet.
I think it is a success. It made me love it as much as I love my PS3.
You are being silly. I play great exclusives on my PS3 and my 360. What have you been looking at? Do you even own both consoles?
Omega4, I am not sure we will see a 360 price cut this year, but I do agree those other things will help the 360 do well in 2010.
Both consoles did well. Sony did a great job in 2009 in terms of the new slim PS3 and the games and the price drop. This helped the PS3 see growth in 2009. The 360 also did well in the face of the stiffer competition from the PS3. Holding even might not seem like such an accomplishment, but it is when you consider that it is just one leg in the race. The sales of all consoles is like a wavy line and we will have to wait until the end of this generation to see where those wavy lines end u...
That stupid comment there makes you worse than any of them.
That person either misspoke or were misquoted. It isn't the issue some of you are trying to make it out to be.
Nope, PS3 and 360 both have a great year ahead of them.
That's unfair. Please provide proof. I think you are just hating like all the other haters. Sony isn't perfect either, you know. Rootkit fiasco anyone?
I think it is fairly obvious that it was just a slip up. The rep probably had the worldwide number stuck in their head and they just misspoke. It happens to all of us. Let's not make more out of this than it is.
Halo 3 and Killzone 2 are both great games. Ha! Bet that really makes all your fanboy heads spin!
Oh come now, all companies say some things that upset the opposing side. Quit singling Microsoft out.
Rooting for "your team" is one thing, but extreme fanboyism is hurting gaming. Especially the extreme fanboyism on this site. I like both consoles and I come to this site for news, not to constantly be bombarded by a bunch of fanboy comments.
I agree with you, Figboy. I appreciate the time and effort that went into FFXIII. I am going to buy it and play it and I couldn't care less about all this hate and conspiracy theories about the game. It is going to be a fantastic game and that is what is important. Gaming is better than it has ever been. The only thing putting a negative cloud over things is the extreme amount of fanboyism and hate on all sides.
If that is true whoopimen, then the game would have to be put on multiple Blu-ray discs. The game is already almost 40GB of data, so if you added 14GB more of data that would put it over the limit for current Blu-ray discs. All games have content cut as the development process goes on, just like films. It doesn't mean that content was in a finished and polished state and then just cut out.
All games have some content cut from them as production goes forward. Nothing new here. Besides, if the game was much larger it wouldn't even fit on a Blu-ray. Then we would have to hear people complaining about having multiple discs on the PS3 version.
Well, this is pretty much what I expected. If it were not for the movies and stuff it would fit on a DVD. Not surprising when you look at how huge RPGs like Fallout 3 and ES4 are and they still fit on a DVD.
Anyway, the cut scenes are what made them have to put the 360 version on multiple discs. After all, if it got much bigger even the PS3 version would have to be put on multiple discs. I wouldn't care though, because multiple discs has never bothered me.
You guys need to stop this. Both consoles have some great looking games coming this year. It looks like the best year of gaming ever and all anybody can do is bicker like children over something that doesn't really even matter.
