Countless people tried to explain VR is not ready and we're labeled as disenters.
No, we buy all of this stuff anyway, it was a warning to the poor Joe's that have been duped by the kinect, pseye, 3dtv, move, nunchuck, etc.
So in Japan adults and 12 year olds marry regularly smarty?
Grow. Up.
I don't know what society you're from, but 18-21 is considered of age mafriend.
One of the few games I actually finished, the short length had something to do with that. I remember it being fun.
Most every subject should be open for games, books, movies and music. The only thing that comes to mind that is off limits is sexual themes involving the under aged.
I don't see why my old 2500k wouldn't work. I got a titan before the x1 was even announced and that setup has been 4k for years.
there is a higher chance a terrorist will have the name Muhammad than Archie, Steve or Frank.
I see what you did there...
Gcu also does not combine sales with the 20%.
Gcu is pre order ONLY. Prime is added 2 weeks after reviews.
When was the last Nintendo console that "delivered in a big way.?"
I remember the N64 being exciting at the time, but was at an age I wasn't interested in Mario and wanted more life like video games from xbox and psn. It ended collecting dust and I gave it away.
I never could really get into wii motion after the novelty wore off. Skipped wii2 altogether.
So why you're "expecting big things" I don't know, base...
Well that's the trick now isn't it? If done wrong it makes you sick to your stomach.
I remember early 3D and the new cameras were off a little, was a horrible experience on some shows.
And nauseous...
Author is all over the place. Several misspelled words but he has a couple points.
He doesn't like loading times and other crap we have to deal with now vs. the ease of cartridge based systems that was instant gratification. I agree no reason to not push for improvements.
The VR issue he hardly explores. The eye glasses issue however is not a vr issue that is a personal issue. Long before video games, sports required me to plan ahead with contacts.
In the future this might work for me. Especially for a few of those like battlefield won't hit $5 like dead space and others do.
So if I wait a couple years and not buy some stuff then I might do this. EA may be experiencing what has been happening to me over the last couple years, I'm buying less games due to the backlog.
I can't wait to pick up morpheus at gamestop, hanging in a clear plastic bag for $65 in a couple years.
Truth starts to leak about this gimmick...I mean vr...I mean 3D...move...Kinect...pseye...
"too"
Nope I don't trust the author.
according to the checker my I52500k is not either, site says:
recommended is an Intel i5-4590 CPU or greater
recommend using the Intel i5-6400 processor for a superior VR experience.
Also this: * Please note that we focus on single-core performance CPUs, therefore not every i5 and i7 card will meet Rift's recommended system specifications.

Ok, WHY does a cutting edge tech computer company call a cpu a ...
Not interesting, and I'm using NV.
I've been experimenting with ambient occlusion settings and even at 4k I can not definitively say which method is better, it's just slightly different.
Usually there is minimal pull on fps so I turn it on cause they tell me it's better, which is bs. If there is a performance hit I turn it off and can't tell.
Incidentally, 60fps and then resolution do matter to me, in that order.
You get on board with your money but don't insist I'm dooming VR by waiting to see. Or buy my ticket to get on board.
