Managing expectations is important, let us know we are getting gfx on the scale of last gen indie games.
After the underwhelming showing at the last show a ton of momentum was lost. Full damage control here on out.
I've been at 4k for 3 years on the original titan. I've found turning some useless settings down I can get nearly all games to 4k60.
The increase in resolution takes aa out. Many demanding settings I turn down cause I can't see the difference and I compare on and off for hours, I could have a second degree I compare so much.
Yes one would prefer max settings at 4k60 but for me resolution and frame rate trump extra grass. When I look at max setting...
Good to hear of your new hobby, I did the same a few years back and it's fun to have a locked 60 fps.
From steam page :
singleplayer survival adventure set on a mysterious alien planet and is the spiritual successor to the 2010 PC Gamer USA Action/Adventure Game Of The Year "The Ball"
Simple ownership in that I own the $5 steam game you paid up to $60 for.
For me that happens less than 10% of the time, it's an old game and 99% of new games have no issues with compatibility/drivers.
Older games can sometimes need troubleshooting BUT now you have full backwards compatibility and higher resolution, good trade off.
Thing is on console 100% I have to deal with the low lag and resolution, jaggies, screen tear. It really is a mess compared with the same pc game.
Exceptions are the exclusives, that...
4.99 steam summer sale. SOLD
Fraps won't work, fix?
I don't follow games until they are released, therefore he could have promised a harem will visit your house if you buy it and I would never know.
Advice don't listen to the pre game crap before the Super Bowl.
I hope they figure it out but right now it just sounds like a mess. History is not on their side based on previous products.
They do have the one hit wonder that they will probably never replicate, but it would be so nice to see them mop the floor with the competition.
Culturally I think they are in trouble due to my generation losing interest with mario etc and I'm not pushing mario much to my kids. Therefore they won't have an attachment to their ch...
Both vr attempts at games don't come close to what we want to play. It will get there but just a novelty now.
I've never seen a more "wii inspired" bunch of dribble.
I will have vr but not for this try at tomb raider, fallout, witcher, cod, xcom, etc. For real games I will turn off vr and play 4kpc and console.
Steam search gets zilch...
Don't try Star Wars Commander then...
As far as swb I like it for about an hour then it does get, not boring, but too taxing. I don't ever play mp fps so I really have to concentrate and after awhile I need a break.
Now I've finally joined the many mp players out there I have realized I have little to lose or stress about in sp games. In contrast, with mp I really don't want to be shot, I can't reload a save spot and try again like a Fal...
I eventually will have a ps4, so that is $300 already going to be spent.
I have a VR compatible pc but was turned off by the $650. However, if I factor the ps4 and vr it's probably over the OCrift.
So then I start to ponder could I skip the ps4 the entire generation, and get the ps5 VR. I already have a 4kpc to get me through and an X1.
Unless the ps5 is backward compatible then I would be good to wait, it does look like all future cons...
I hope they offer a good bundle with a ps4, cause I already have a 4kpc that can run rift.
But at some point I want a ps4, if the bundle is cheap I'll jump, otherwise I'll wait.
It's a good reason to buy...it just so happens to be the same reason I bought ps eye, move, kinect, wii, 3dtv.
Right, the industry and media should change to adapt latency as well as speed to compare fps. Similar to the fcat and micro stuttering issue culture change.
Best writing I've ever read on here, wow.
Not sure what made me click, more of a story of life than video games.
What a surprise.
Que the, I didn't even know they had a store, comments.
