Great point, where are the triple a devs? They can't pull a full time team out of current projects to dedicate to a new platform.
Plus that team could make a game to sell to millions of consoles/pc, or that team could could make a game that 1 to 2 million vr sets.

You bring up a huge problem, lack of triple aaa presentation games. I have vr and I'm telling you with the right tomb raider, xcom, fallout type game this could be the biggest thing.
But they're giving us this low budget, low gfx quality crap, gaming on rails, browser based gameplay which is not going to sell it.
They could do so much to make this appeal. All of the games shown are good as filler after you have 3 great aaa games.

The immersion is real as I own vr. Problem is the games are not ready for what we want. Yes they are neat for a few minutes and then they don't hold up.
This is the infancy of vr. We were content playing atari for years and we will be content with vr for now.
The difference is 4kPC and console games quality are competing with vr, and atari was competing with pong which was no competition.

It is amazing, I own vr and want it to grow.
The problem is its amazing initially and then you start to realize as cool as it is to look around, which is so much better than a tv...GAMEPLAY.

The biggest change is playing in chronological order. The author even describes that as a fix that was a huge problem for me and others.
I don't mind as much paying this one time for a sw game, since I don't play mp on any other game. I've never bought season passes on any mp game.
If fact I try to stay a game or 2 back in series so I can pick it up for $20 or less. So I'm closer to paying what it's worth to me over the years, and in this case their sw license is the 1 of only a couple franchises are important to me for me to pay full price($37 at bb gcu).

Well if you could watch the show...yt developed a sound skipping issue and twitch had a low res video feed. After confirming other video was fine and it was not my pc I finally gave up.

60fps you nailed it. I've spent time over the last 2 years with 4k and switching between 30 and 60 at different resolutions and gfx settings.
60fps at any resolution or setting is imperative. Truly affects the game unlike anything else.
