The oc is causing the crashes. That vanilla game has rock solid stability.

I've been at 4k before the X1 was even announced and enjoyed last gen games at 4k while ps360 looked pretty bad in comparison.

This gen I've upgraded to 4k60 and lowered settings, and still knocks console out. From a fidelity stand point there is no going back.

Of course no knock on the advantages of consoles as I love their exclusives!

They look scary.

I'm sure you are well aware but others new to dedicated video cards may not be....the fps when testing are at the highest available graphic settings. They often don't turn down specific settings that are unoptomized and provide little to no eye candy.

Each game is different but going through each settings and trying out each level for your personal eye candy vs drop in frames can net you enough fps to often stay with an older card longer.

I'm so pessimistic anymore my first thought was yeah sure you've been robbed.

me too, so I went to the forums and a work around is at the screen to quit because of the error, when you select quit hold down the page up button. That got me through...I guess a work around during beta. Next it stalled at a loading screen and I gave it one more try and it worked.

Good thing, I run 4k and have always loved fm since the original but haven't played lately cause the gfx haven't kept up with pc, and it is what I've always wanted. 4k60fps FM! pla...

Speaking with a bit of experience in 4k, I was at 4kpc prior to x1 even being announced. I've also watched all current available 4k video content, from Samsung 4k hard drive to netflix and amazon 4k and Directv.

There is minimal improvement in video and mainstream won't appreciate the difference, of course videophiles will. But in games I see a really nice improvement even to 10 year old games. Imo casual gamers won't be interested 4k games, people who visit t...

I like it too, but my gun unlocks disappeared. chat support says its an issue for a lot of people and they can't help me, waiting on the studio to fix.

Your main point is "...obvious once you try a good demo or game in vr that we are on the cusp of the medium that..."

That is the problem, we want games that are great now. I don't want to pay for what I think I'll get in a few years.

(Yes I've put hours into vr)

Well I've tried to warn those who haven't tried it, the immersion is off the scale, but the games are crap. I just don't want people to blow their individual budgets and be disappointed.

Noteworthy is his comparison with thr GearVR that is wireless and requires no computer, it's not that much different. I was expecting a generational leap between the two.

Most mainstream non gamers, the kind that don't comment on gaming sites, it is clunky from their perspective.

3D glasses are considered clunky to them. Where we would don a 3D motion capture suit with 50 facepoints of articulation glued to our head and not really consider that to clunky, in our perspective.

Have you not trid vr before? Keep you expectations down for the visual fidelity, but let it in run lose for the level of immersion. The immersion is a new experience.

Some of my criticism is its not that good now, and people need to know that potential is actually what is through the roof.

I've put many hours in and it has a great wow factor...for the first 2 hours. Then sore neck, slight eye fatigue, sweaty head, ear and nose bridge pressure, and a twinge of nausea start to push in on my awsome experience.

In addition, the games are pretty minimal and again, the key factor here is potential. It's obvious to see t...

What a useless article with typos, I knew better than to click on an unknown website. It's a rehash of sw news from the last few weeks.

The title has ample opportunity to reach...alas, no creativity here.

As long as you know after the wow factor and 2 hours of sore neck muscles, eye fatigue and a twinge of nausea you will need a break.

Have you tried it? I've put hours in and there is a huge wow factor that slides into...but I can enjoy the game part more outside of vr.

I can describe as I want vr for the 2 hours I'm fresh, and I will be wowed. then switch to regular gaming when more in the relaxed mood like after work.

I played a tower defense on vr and it was all head movement. Neck was sore.

Seems to be those who can notice/care about improved frame rate and resolution and those who don't.

Great, for those few that do it's a win for both the consumer and MSony.

There are many who have claimed for the last decade there is little difference in frame rate and resolution...Great for them to they can keep what they have.

Of course, I'm assuming all previous games will work for both.

I suppose there is the ...

Is it a timed exclusive? I would imagine. I'm not sure if I go rift or ps4, I have a capable system and don't yet have a ps4. But if this is true exclusive I would break down for ps4 earlier than anticipated.
