60 fps = answer
You wrote all of that and didn't even mention the first ever mid gen upgrade that improved the cpu/gpu; xbox one S.
it is "architected"
Nice guide!
Read an article that it screwed up gtx 1060s pretty bad. Years ago they did that to my old gtx 580 so I would have to buy a new one. Thing is back then you could pick up a card on the cheap but now prices are so bad you could buy a console instead.
This will be fun stuff to check out

It's 3 years, not 2, please pay attention or stop blatantly lying, whichever the case.
In addition, the investors look at xbox gaming profit as a whole and can care less if the hardware sub-division only breaks even. Gaming is very profitable for MS.
I think the 2018 Samsung's may have HDMI 2.1, I know they are supposed to have vrr. My vizio does true 120hz on one HDMI input that I use for pc4k. I'll give it a try when it updates. I would love for it to improve the responsivness or smooth out animation just a little like it does on pc.
I wonder how 120 Hz will work, do games have to be coded for that? Games struggle to hold 30fps so how could this be useful? I know when I put my cpu to 120 Hz I think I notice a slight smoothness in games even at 30 and 60 fps, but I don't think it really helps much. In fact I don't pick up very much improvement at 120 fps, it's more noticible but not like it is going from 30 to 60 locked.
Incidentally I remember over the last gen arguing with people about h...
Is there an option deeper in the menu possibly? I found Hz in system information in a general option, it was no where near the graphics options.
Man what a mess(not Sony just the av world in general), I'm sorry you are going through this. It seems me or my friends have experienced crap like this ever since HDMI was introduced.
This is kind of weird to mention it was released earlier and now a new one is being quickly released. Yet the article does not detail the story of what happened and when the original was released.
Cod?
Not pre alpha as that means the water and models would have stand ins without much polygons.
But I’d say early access in that the first huge game foundation has been built, and you show that off as what’s to come. Cause there is no content after the first 5 hours.
It was not overhyped, the genuine excitement comes from the core gameplay with the best ocean, almost organic, and the wonderful discovery of being in charge of a ship you were not trained to man.
Unfortunately this awesome experience lasts about 5 or less hours, and then you want the ride to continue but there is nothing else to do.
There not the same x86?
I'm assuming ps4 backwards compatibility since same architecture, but will it auto improve gfx/frame rate?
MS can now start pushing for new hardware release ONE year post ps5?
Pro came out in 2016 so 3 years sounds right for 2019 especially since they probably really want to offer a 4kBR player. If the pro had one then I could see a 4 year spread and Sony waiting until 2020, but they didn't so their internal play might be a q 3 years cycle.
Surprise PS4K Slim announcement at E3 with a release date of Sept.
