The reason all things decay is original sin. Don't worry, we will go to heaven after we decay. I'm not sure about HD-DVD disks, though. Will HD-DVD disks and Blu-Ray disks go to heaven? Only God knows. :)
DVDs fit 8.5 GB of data, Blu-Ray fits 50 GB (although Sony is using 25GB single-layer disks, now). All this means is you can fit more stuff on the disk. It has nothing to do with textures, rendering, resolution, polygon counts, etc. To say that any PS3 game is impossible for 360 due to Blu-Ray is false.
However, if a PS3 game actually used 50GB with compression, then it would take 6 DVDs on 360. Will this happen?
Oblivion is one of the biggest games in terms of s...
I wish I was playing it now. But it's coming soon!!!
Madden 08 sold 4 times more copies on 360 then on PS3.
PS3 has sold about 1.7 million units. Microsoft has sold about 6 million 360s.

FFXIII and MGS4 can't be ported to the Wii. This means these games are coming to 360, unless Sony pays big bucks, which they won't because they can't afford it and it's never been the model for Sony to buy exclusivi...
But I would be disappointed if it was only 6 hours long. The Half-Life 2 Episode 1 expansion was 5 hours long.
Who knows about the status of the war? But Blu-Ray has always been known to cost more money to manufacture. The article says it's 5 times more than HD-DVDs. The article seems to make it out to be a catastrophic situation for Blu-Ray. If so, we should see a shift very soon.
Sega has lost it's touch. They continue to rely on old IPs.
...but I do know that analysts say that Sony loses 200-300 dollars on each console. That means they lose 200,000,000 for every million consoles sold. They sold about 5,000,000 consoles, so Sony lost 1 billion dollars. So, as the PS3 gets cheaper to make, Sony will be hesitant to drop the price. If Sony drops the price too early, the rate of loss will remain the same. This can't happen to any business. They can't lose money though the entire console cycle.
Bioshock will sell at least 2 or 3 million "long term". VG Chartz is foolish to suggest that Bioshock won't hit that mark soon. Gears sold 4 million or more so far.
Brett is the owner and creator of VG Chartz and he says:
"Considering the site is essentially run by one person (who also has a full time job and fiancée) and is offered to people for free then I think many have expectations which are far too high. I do my best with the information I have but of course it is not perfect."

It is an average guy making guesstimations by extrapolating old and useless data (at best).
Please don't report this garbage as news!!!
Didn't they know that the controls failed many months ago? Didn't the testers complain? How did this happen?
AC was "not confirmed" for other platforms, but eventually became a multi-platform game. This appears to be the same language. It's a smart move to drum-up interest in the game for PS3 owners. The reality is that the 360 market is too big to ignore. It is coming to 360 after the dust settles with Halo 3.
The article was pretty good, but he put Halo fans in the category of "subculture" and "sociopaths". It just shows what "casuals" think of gamers.
Why is this game getting any attention? What is cool about this game?
The suit is too masculine for a girl to be inside.
Warhawk is to PS3 as MechAssault is to Xbox 1 (at best). MechAssault was a great multi-player game for Xbox owners, but it wasn't a system seller.
The article concluded that Sony must drop the price. But, Sony can't drop the price for a very simple reason. They lose too much money on each console sold. Dropping the price is not an option.
The article from "Teh Gamr" (the source) doesn't state MP3's sales numbers. So, how can they claim it outsold Bioshock? Don't worry, NPD will solve this next month and report real numbers.
