Geoff is having trouble with his show, so he is resorting to shock TV to get ratings.
He recently had a "retrospective" of his show which really means that nobody wants to appear on it. He followed the retrospective up with interviews of "regular" gamers.
EGM had a 4 page hands-on preview about the problems with AC. The controls are not great, the combat is repetitive, the plot is iffy, and some others. The conclusion was that AC was improved, but still needs work.
Definitely wait for reviews!
It's good that the developer says it's dandy on PS3, but we won't really know until the review.
We have already seen MGS, RE, and TR remakes. These were "ok", but nothing compared to a new experience. The bump in graphics does not justify a remake.
Canada is a liberal, socialist country that resembles our Democrats in the U.S.
They don't like freedom, and they operate on pure feelings or emotions (without faith in God). So, it doesn't surprise me that canada.com doesn't like a number associated with reviews. It's too rational.
The fact is that PS3 games don't look and play as well as 360 games. The 360 has proven to be more powerful. You don't pay $400 or more for excuses. You pay that money to play the best games, which are on 360.
?
Or you could say Foxnews is a "lie detector". Either way, you get the real unbiased truth.
(Except when they talk about video games. I think they are wrong on this one.)
If Sega did say that VF5 was only possible on PS3, then you have a point. I know for a fact that Sega (actually AM2) said that online wasn't desirable due to lag.
I suggest selling your PS3 for a 360 since the reality is that Microsoft has won this generation.
..but they are not sloppy.
In fact, it's cleaned up!
I admit that there could have been more plot, but the game play was great and polished. I recommend Crackdown to anyone. Jumping from building-to-building was addictive and memorable.
I think we would be playing Bioshock if it wasn't for the strong lineup on 360. I bought Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, and Halo 3. I want to buy the Orange Box, but I think I'll go for Ace Combat 6. It will be hard to avoid playing Halo 3.
It is one of the most polished games I've ever played. The texture drawing is simply a part of the Unreal 3 Engine. Gears does the same thing.
I didn't know about that. However, I was going to buy it because it looks amazingly real and the planes are cool. Bonus!
Is Ratchet & Clank at the level of Halo 3 or Bioshock? I haven't played it, but a 15 hour platformer will have a tough time scoring the same as those games.
The time and money spent on Halo 3 and Bioshock are likely double or more than R&C.
No doubt that R&C is a great game, however.
Blue Dragon got a 37
Ace Combat 6 got a 36
You get a ton of stuff for $279. If you want a HDD later, you spend $20 more than buying a Premium now.
If you have the money, Premium or Elite is the way to go. If you are short on cash, the Arcade SKU is a great deal. It's certainly better than the Wii.
Only Sony fanboys that never played NG emphasize the lack of multi-player. It's no different than announcing that Mass Effect is single-player.
I don't recall multi-player being mentioned by Itagaki. Anyone that has played NG knows that MP is not desirable.
However, co-op would be cool. But that was never mentioned, either.
The sentence is for 10 years for each man. The author decided to add them for no good reason.
But I agree that it seems harsh. Perhaps these guys have long records?
