Gametrailers video review showed the guards as dumb as bricks. You kill one guard under stealth, the other guard investigates the dead body as you are standing in his face. You then kill the other guard.
But Gametrailers gave it a 9.1 regardless.
I think that the game is a mixed bag of greatness and mediocrity. Some people are willing to forgive the mediocre parts.

I've had it pre=ordered for a couple months. I'm glad it was a good decision. I never assumed it to be a perfect 10 because Jade Empire was garbage. But they made KOTOR, so my hopes were high.

He also said that he kept it in his entertainment center. That is like putting it in an oven.
It was a 1-2 punch against his PS3. Dust blocked the vents and coated the chips like a blanket, and the entertainment center didn't allow proper air flow.
This is a lesson for him. Dust your house regularly!!!
Sure, there was a high failure rate, but MS fixes it for free. Consumers are willing to forgive a defective console as long as MS stands by it. It's particularly easy to forgive when great games back it up, too.
They didn't have 3D graphics in the arcades back then. They would have had to use vector graphics or sprites. That wouldn't look like the movie at all.
I use it for messages, viewing achievements, and playing music. There are many other features that you can access while in-game.
It's like living with a microwave oven in the home. If you've never used it, you won't understand it's value. Poor PS3 owners are stuck with a regular oven.
Microsoft had these features on launch day, Nov 2005. It's Nov 2007. Also remember that the original Xbox had many of these features since 2002.

Using Madden 08 as an example, the 360 runs at 60 FPS and the PS3 at 30 FPS. The 360 runs 2x faster, literally. Therefore, the PS3 needs to run at 60% (2x30%) in order to match the 360's 60%.
Of course, my conclusion is just as lame as the article's claim. The PS3 does not have any real evidence that it is more powerful. In fact, it has proven to be weaker time and time again.

This review is a joke. Besides that, the game looks mediocre. Why? Because it appears to be a Tomb Raider clone. So, it's like playing Tomb Raider, but without Lara Croft. I predict that it will get 8s at best, but in the end, the game will be forgettable. Metacritic and Gamerankings will average 78%. Not bad, but not great.
It's ok to point out that the controls work well on the PC, but the reviewer stated that the KB/Mouse is always better.
Using a KB/Mouse for an FPS is no different than using a light gun 1 ft away from the screen. So, by "better" they mean "so accurate that it's like cheating".

Oblivion sold well because it was a deep RPG with a huge world and amazing graphics. KOTOR sold well because it had a great plot, tons of dialogue, and you could choose to be good or evil.
I don't see how these would translate into an MMO. Oblivion would look like poo poo as an MMO, and KOTOR would lose it's character.
Smart bad guys will plan a crime and then realize that there are too many unknowns and then get a job. Dumb bad guys will charge full-steam-ahead, completely oblivious that they may get caught.
