And that's why this game looks like it could POSSIBLY be the game changer the franchise needs.
Honestly, first time I watched Alien, my first words afterwards were "We need a game of this". As soon as I finished watching it, I could imagine a game where you were stuck aboard a ship or station being hunted by a single Alien, with no way to kill it. And finally, it feels like that is becoming a possibility!
I agree! I only started playing them in February, and quickly got through all three games simply because the universe does such a good job of pulling you in. Fantastic lore, great characters and an intriguing and exciting plot! I really consider Mass Effect as being much more than a series of games in the same way that Star Wars is more than a series of films and Lord of the Rings is more than a trilogy of books.
Utterly ridiculous review. Sure, the game doesn't really do anything new, but it does everything as good as (if not better than, in some respects) Arkham City.
At least an 8.5/10. Probably higher.
I have it in English. It's very very nice :)
LOL I know how you feel... :P
Conversely, the fact that Superman, Green Lantern and the Flash CAN'T exist on in the Nolanverse doesn't actually stop it from being the best.
Many would argue that the best stories within the Bat-Family Lore are actually those that don't contain those more super-able-bodied heroes. I don't believe that Nolan ever anticipated that other heroes (of the super-variety) existed within his world, and that is fine. It's the great thing about comic 'adaptatio...
Still waiting on the Victorian London Assassins Creed... until then, I doubt I'll be getting excited about any of the games.
I've just bought the complete edition - never played a GTA game before, but been meaning to get into them.
Interestingly, as the article points out, the product description reads:
"GTA V pre-order discount offer has already been applied to this title. No further discount will be applied for customer's pre-ordering GTA V."
It seems as though this offer may only be meant for people who have pre-ordered GTA V from the PS Store....
I'm impressed. This is looking good so far, and I'll be purchasing it as soon as I can get me paws on it.
Oh, please please please be Jak.
I'm actually quite impressed with what I've played of it so far. If it was the only DLC, I'd be disappointed, but for under £4, it's fantstic.
Yes, but equally, I think giving The Walking Dead a Platinum Trophy is a little cheeky for a different reason. I really believe that platinum trophies should be earnable with a single purchase.
(Okay, I admit that the Walking Dead can be bought with just a single purchase, but that wasn't how the game was originally marketed)
Glad to see that people are no longer quite so worried about this game!!
Hmm, very true actually! What are the VR missions?
Dishonored is a peculiar story for me. I own it, and absolutely love it (would certainly rate it 9/10), but for some reason, still haven't finished it. I don't know why - something about it just doesn't draw me in.
I'll get round to finishing it one of these days... just not sure when.
[EDIT: Sorry, forgot the whole point of my comment!]
I just can't help think that Thief might go the same way...
I'm very tempted by this - and it's a tempting price as well. I already own MGS1 as a PS Classic download, and MGS2 and 3 on PS2 (although never properly got round to playing them), and of course, MGS4...
Might have to try and pick this up.
Best game in the series, followed by Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
What pains me most about this game isn't the fact that the graphics were weak or the gameplay and story were poor. It's the fact that the game didn't include a mode where you were tasked with escaping a maze-like ship as a lone survivor, with no weapons other than those you could find, knowing that there was a single alien somewhere aboard... That would have made for a first-class mode.
It's not quite a dolphin, but...
