As for hard drives internal is the way to go. Demos and dled games can not be played off an external hard drive. Any 2.5" sata drive will work. However if you are handy with an exacto knife then buy any Western Digital Passport external drive (they are always on sale somewhere). Open it up with the knife, take the drive out and put it in your PS3. Take the old PS3 drive and put it in the WD Passport enclosure. Thats gives you both. A large internal drive and a small external drive...
stuff will be downloadable for $ at a later date. I'll be getting it from Amazon since I have certs there and I ain't down with tax.
SHE said that SHE searched for months to find one. So there were no screen shots or specs available for the Wii even months after launch? SHE is mostly complaining about the graphics after all. Which again makes it HER own damn fault. Capisce?
He bought one and is a part of the Wii Bandwagon by default. He should of done his homework first. If he didn't then that's his fault. Personally I think the Wii is-- not very good to put it kindly. But hey, I did my research before buying my systems and I'm happy with them. Maybe he should of done the same.
This game will be mega ugly on big screen tvs. I wonder if you can even smooth it like PS1 and PS2 disc based games. If not then its total garbage.
I hope their working on it.
But it does seem kind of silly. Maybe some people don't want to use up 8gb of HD space just to store the game.
Then you might as well call Ninja Gaiden 2 a flop. Heavenly Sword metacritic averaged 79. Ninja Gaiden 2 averaged a 81. Heavenly Sword also has a higher user rating there and sold more units.
It was suppose to come out along with the wired version a year ago. But still haven't seen it.
Hopefully Sony let him sell it for $10.
But here's a few things that PSN offers that XBL service does not. And remember Xbox Live is going on 6 years now. PSN is nearing only its 2nd year of existence.
Reason 1. Dedicated servers for first party games.
Reason 2. User generated content is allowed on the PSN service. As seen with UT 3 and Little Big Planet in a few months time.
Reason 3. Ability to purchase some movies not just rent.
Reason 4. Free userpics and themes as well...
They will get the game eventually and will most likely include extras. Best yet they will actually make money off royalties when the game is released unlike MS which has to pay money out to get the game. Sucks that PS3 only users have to wait but knowing that it will probably be the definitive version just like Eternal Sonata and Bioshock should soften the blow a bit.
So yes single player monsters is much, much harder.
Sounds like a pretty misleading title. Especially since they don't give an actual pct. in the article it could be split 51%/49% for all we know.
There are also a lot of errors.
1. The game is still slated for Windows according to the official website.
2. The game is being published by MGS but is not "owned" by them. The Alan Wake website clearly states that Alan Wake is the property of Remedy Entertainment.
Instead of telling gamers to put out more money it should be an open letter to MS to lower the price. I'm interested but I won't buy until its on sale or MS drops the price permanently. But I'm sure it will garner plenty of sales even at an elevated price. I mean look how many people are willing to pay $80 for a plastic chainsaw gun that "makes real chainsaw action sounds!" But $15 is 3 game rentals (discounted price with Total Access) for me at Blockbuster and I'd rather have th...
Not sure I like the idea of these game companies sharing info with the cops without our knowledge though.
This place use to be overrun with 360 fanboys in early-mid 2k7 constantly bashing the PS3. But they started to slowly disappear as the ps3 user base grew and the 360 didn't annihilate the PS3 in the Holiday season of 2k7 like they all predicted. Who knows where they are now.
But for those that want to do more you can practically play the game forever. I've sunk 180 hours into the first game and have barely scratched the surface of the extra stuff. So if leveling up, Finding new hidden classes to change into, hidden side battles, finding weapons and leveling up your weapons is your type of thing the game can literally last years.
remove the blue screw after you pop off the HD drive cover. Pull out the HD caddy and remove the 4 mounting screws. Replace old drive with new drive and reverse steps. However, the mounting screws that Sony uses are crap. They strip very easily. I stripped 3 of them even when I tried to be extra careful. So you may want to go to a hardware store and buy some needle nose pliers in advance to remove any screws you may strip by accident.
