Yeah its sort of funny. He says the industry is full of BS then he piles some on himself. No system relies on a single game to determine success or failure.

At a 30% market up and the removal of the gba slot I think Nintendo may see more resistance then some of you think. This is the first time in history where a gaming company has charged a higher price for a hardware revision if I remember correctly.

I enjoyed both those games and Perfect Dark Zero. If you look on metacritic Rare games on the 360 have consistently averaged 80% or above. So arguing Rare is a commercial failure is fine. But a failure quality wise? I just don't see it.

That thing looks pretty nasty. I'll keep my black elite thanks.

Translation:

The Wii is a dumb down console for those who haven't developed fine motor skills yet (boys 6-11) and people who have never played games before. Now there's nothing wrong with that. Those people deserve to have fun as well. But I'm just telling it like it is.

Really? If a game sells they'll release a sequel?! What a revolutionary idea...

No, still no "Greatest Hits" edition for Uncharted, Heavenly Sword or Ratchet and Clank in the US.

Actually its:

First two years of the 360's life: 17.7 million sold.

First two years of the PS3's life: 21.3 million sold.

But the point is just the same. All these PS3 is dying articles are retarded. PS3 is on pace to sell 50+ million units in its first 5 years. That's more then the original Xbox and Gamecube combined. It might not be number one this gen but they certainly aren't going to stop supporting it.

Once again idiot politicians jump on something they know nothing about, hoping it will get their name on the news. Amazon wasn't selling this game. Someone was using Amazon marketplace to sell it. If someone puts up an ad in the classifies of a newspaper is the newspaper selling whats in the ad?

It is not the same thing. Sony owns the IP to all of those games you mentioned besides War Devil and Metal Gear. Epic owns the Gears Of War IP. Plus they only had a 2 game deal with MS. The 3rd game is up for grabs and Epic can do what it pleases with it.

The fan wasn't really the problem to begin with. It was the dvd drives. I have an Elite with a benq drive now and its not nearly as loud as the old samsung and hitachi drives. If volume is at a decent level I don't even notice it at all anymore.

If you studied the screen shot you'd see that Amazon wasn't selling this. There were a couple of sellers selling it using Amazon marketplace. Amazon marketplace is much like ebay. Where a seller can create a page for an item to sell. Amazon did what they were suppose to do. Remove the page when it was brought to their attention.

Here is new info on the pricing:

Blockbuster said subscribers will be able to pick games for major platforms, including the Nintendo Wii, Sony's PlayStation 2 and 3, as well as Microsoft's Xbox and Xbox 360. The pilot program will launch in the second quarter.

Customers of Blockbuster's Total Access can rent DVDs online and exchange them in Blockbuster stores as well as by mail. The plans start at $10 a month and the company says its $20 plan is the most popular. Ren...

yep I have a blockbuster 6 blocks away and they have an online distro 20 miles away. I get movies in 1 or 2 days and I can just trade them in any time at the store. Plus I signed up under a promo code about a year and a half ago. 3 out at a time, unlimited in-store exchanges plus 1 free game rental a month for $20.

yeah I don't see it either. Sega is in no position to launch another console by themselves. They would need major backing from a big electronics hardware manufacturer to keep costs down and compete. Say Samsung, Matsushida or Toshiba.

Sadly this "game" will probably go on to sell 1 million copies.

No Gamefly is a privately owned company. Netflix is a publicly traded company.

Sorry your Blockbuster sucks. But mine is pretty good. They call the day before a game is due. The staff is relatively friendly and they have a decent amount of games in stock. This is a good move by Blockbuster to move into video games and I hope it works out for them. I'd hate to loose my local Blockbuster. If they decide to really start focusing on game sales they could also be a threat to Gamestop. I mean its cool that you can go there get a psn card or xbox live card or extra cont...

It depends for some titles already pressed they actually just slapped a Greatest Hits sticker on it. I saw a few Warhawk games like that. Original case just with a red Greatest Hits sticker slapped on top of it.

It took me about 21 hours to finish the single player on normal watching every cut scene. But I didn't search through every level. If you take your time it would probably last 25 or so hours.
