and I'm sure if MS wrote them a big enough check they would do as told. I mean what we have seen this generation is proof positive of that. Everyone has a price.
for Square Enix right?
The game is best played on PC. The extra keys just make the game so much more enjoyable.
Did you read the quote from 2k? " Markus Wilding, International PR Director for 2K:
“We were approached by Microsoft and at that time, that deal made perfect sense for everybody, so we did it. As far as exclusivity deals go these days, they expire after a certain time, and then it was up to us to decide if it would make sense to release a PS3 version.
“Obviously we couldn’t announce it for a while. Had we announced it at the time we launched the 360 version, basicall...
BTW expecting a year old game to sell 1 million when the original sold around 2 million is a bit ridiculous. I think if it sells 400k to 500k on PS3 Take Two will up the price significantly. And it will be up to MS if they want to bust out the check book again.
and had the 5 free blu-ray movies by mail. But honestly you really have to wonder how important BC is to a normal user. Yeah, video games geeks go crazy over it but everyone else... not so much at least in my experience. Most people aren't into playing old games or still have a PS2. The memory card readers are nice but thumb drives are much more common and do the job for moving data.
Yep, someone needs to lay off them video games and get an edumacation. Then he can worry about the fate of FF 13 vs.
Although that kinda is the cheap way to do it. Easy mode is just that, way easy. I finished the game on easy without being hit once. I wish they made that a trophy. Flip the game without being hit. haha
in Europe and Japan.
I was going to pay for this game on the PS3. Now I'll just download it for the 360. Good move Square.
then say they traded game A for game B a week later. Kids need to be smarter with their money. I mean you know you can rent a game at Blockbuster and keep it for 13 days with no penalty right? Its $8 to rent a game and some of these people are paying $30+ to "rent" a game instead.
Correct me if I'm wrong but there has never been a worldwide release for a FF game has there? FF12 hit Japan in Mar and showed up in Oct of the same year.
During the PS2 days all Insomniac did was R & C games, all Naughty Dog did was J & D games and Sucker Punch only did Sly Cooper games. This generation all three were able to create new IPs that were vastly different from their older work. This is the way to go if you want to create a successful stable of first party exclusives.
If they show the same damn trailer from 2 years ago with just more CG tacked on the end of it I'll begin to wonder if this game will ever come out. FF13, a new Suikoden and Star Ocean (which SE promptly sold down the river for a MS check) were my main motivations for getting a PS3.
NPD numbers are an estimate just like VGchartz.
I love that game.
Trash your old product when you've already squeezed every dime you can make from it to hype your new product.
3 out of the 4 media outlets that gave MGS4 an 8 are from the UK. A game made by the Japanese about America. All three of these websites also gave Grid a 9 and up. A game by British developers. Basis?
He started playing games in 1999. He's not a real gamer. He probably saw the industry was growing and thought "Oh I better start covering this stuff and try to make a name for myself".
Seems like a relatively nice guy and he speaks his mind which is more then you can say about most of the fakes in the game industry. Disappointing that Too Human is only about 10 hours long though.
