The only thing wrong with it is the slow refresh rate that causes all that ghosting especially with dark colors like black. If they fix that I might just pick this up. Although it sucks that Sony is releasing another model only 1 year after the last...
Anyone want to tell me why they disagree? Just curious. haha I have seen over a dozen PSP Fat and Slim screens and they all smear blacks like crazy.

on the hardcore stuff and still have people left over to work on smaller projects like this. Sony employs more game developers then Nintendo and MS put together. So I wouldn't worry about hardcore games suffering because of these side projects.
They got rid of BC so they could sell the system for $399. They are already $3 billion in the hole. If people wanted BC they should of bought one last year for $599 or $499. I don't give a crap about whiners that cry about BC. Because those people just sat on their asses waiting for a price drop. Well they got one. Just don't expect the same stuff that people who paid $500-$600 got.
Looks like by the end of the year BC will go the way of the dinosaur in the US like it has in all the other territories. And no there is no price cut for the millionth time. Sony wants to turn a profit on the PS3 this fiscal year. A price cut will not help them do that. 160gb PS3 with Uncharted for $499. 80gb PS3 $399.

Sony is releasing the 80 gb PS3 with a Dual Shock 3 to replace the Sixaxis in the 40 gb systems. They don't expect any increase in sales from it. I doubt MS will either from just a 40 gb boost in Hard drive space.
Alan Wake and Halo Wars? Only delay I remember Sony mentioning is Killzone 2. BTW Socom Confrontation is confirmed for Sept. 16. So his "facts" are not even that.
You can buy a blu-ray rom drive for your PC for $105 now.

6 months ago he said he still believed the 360 could end up number 1 this generation. Now he says the 360 is starting to look like the "also ran" in the group. Talk about flip flopping.
People found out that the site was registered to some 17 year old kid running a script that just adds numbers to each total at timed intervals. MS and Sony's own numbers are probably the most reliable. They are fiscal reports to their shareholders. Lying to shareholders is not good business and can land people in jail.

Some people argue that Sony's number is sold to customers since they don't make it clear. But unless you believe Sony has some kind of magic power that can count every unit sold at retail its pretty safe to assume its shipped.
But out of all the Sony executives he puts his foot in his mouth the most. He has let stuff slip in the past as well as spouting a lot of nonsense. I'm really surprised he hasn't been canned yet.
As for Mirror's Edge, good if true but I kind of doubt it.
