But not offering a premium edition to those that want to buy it seems stupid. Fact is Sony is losing a nut on the PS3 and not doing stuff like this doesn't help get them out of the red.
That's pretty bad when its just a redrawn version of an old game. Not sure I even want it anymore. May just wait for SF 4.
like all the other companies do if they want the PS3 to be profitable. Why is there no LBP, Resistance 2 or Motorstorm 2 Collector's edition? They are leaving a lot of money on the table and it doesn't really make sense. Include all these preorder extras for LBP into a Collector's edition, with a making of DVD, throw in a plushy sackboy (that probably costs $2 or $3 to make) and you have a $89.99 Collector's Edition that will sell like hotcakes. Extra $20-$25 profit on each one sold. Son...
Or they have but reviewers had to sign a NDA until a certain date.
Edit
Below: Print reviews are given more leeway because they have to go to the presses a week or two in advance.
between people that cover games and consumers. They are use to getting their games for free. So isn't it hard to judge a $60 game you got for free vs a $15 game you got for free? Free is free. Quest for Booty is 4 hours long. A regular Ratchet game is about 12 hours long. A consumer is getting 1/3 a normal game for 1/4 the price. But all the review sees is that its 4 hours long.
Wow! you're so right. I suck, not them.... So I pay for a month. I return a game that takes 2-3 days to get to them 2-3 days before a new release then have them ship me a game that takes another 2 or 3 day to get back to me. 6-9 days of membership required to get a new release. Sounds like fun but why don't I just go to Blockbuster and rent the game for $8 or better yet join Blockbuster's game plan which also has unlimited store game rentals (2 at a time) for $21.95 a month. Go to said ...
Anyone that buys NaturalMotion is going to license Euphoria to any company that want to buy it. It's called business. So this is really not a issue for the end users, namely gamers.
I Plan to drop them as soon as my prepaid membership is up. Out of the 10+ games I've gotten from them not a single one had a release date in 2k8! My only choices are old stuff or nothing at all.
Their appeal beyond the 14 million U.S. Xbox 1 owners seems to be extremely limited. I mean when you do a price drop and your sales go down from the previous month (June = 219k units, July = 204k units). That is a very bad sign. But I guess we can wait til September to decide for sure. If the $199 Arcade doesn't boost sales by a lot then MS has officially hit the wall.
Wow that is pretty off.
At least Nintendo makes their points match up to real money. $1 = 1000 points. What MS is doing $1.25 = 100 points is just anti-consumer as is a lot of the stuff they are trying to pull this generation.
How big and long is it?
MS don't pay for exclusives! 3rd parties release timed exclusives because they love MS and just wanna make Shane Kim happy. *chuckle*
Who would of thought the day would come when game companies would sell virtual clothes and furniture.
sleeves or cleaning cloths.
Madden 2k9, a NFL Films UMD and Beats (whatever the heck that is). GOW bundle has the game and Superbad UMD. So in terms of the amount of swag (quality opinions aside) the Madden bundle is better.
If you want to order online.
and that's saying something. Too bad there aren't any trophies. When's it coming out again? Is it the end of this month?
then demos of Lips and In the Movies... BTW they did show DC Online.
Why? Because the Netflix streaming has new movies? That would be a negative.
This guy saved some money anyway. 21 was not very good.
