I loved the first Crackdown. As a fan of the series, though, the game looks a bit too much of a "more of the same" kind of game. That would normally be fine with me, but this game got bland faster than I hoped so more of the same could mean the same fun factor, which didn't last.
Oh, and I hope they updated the climbing in this! Make it more like inFamous. I mean, I know Cole was into Parkour, so that's why he was a good climber, but you can always say the C...

Killzone 3 and LittleBigPlanet 2 were deliberately revealed by Sony.
inFamous 2 and MotorStorm 3 are only based on people's observations of Sony taking out the rights for their websites. Also, a possible cast member for inFamous 2 basically exposed the game on Twitter.

What they should have done instead of backing out and coming back to Sony saying "we'll work with Play Station if we get everything" is actually compromise.
From what we understand, Nintendo realized the contracts details, saw their sales picking up and said forget it, never bothering to make the deal more appealing and.... well... they lost two generations because of it. Mind you, that was with TONS of Mario's help.

On Topic: I think Sony realizes the reality of what 3rd party "exclusives" will look like in the future (non-existent) and therefore rely on what they've always put their money on, which is buying 1st party studios for exclusive titles. They are always gonna stay exclusive. 3rd party? That's always fluctuating.

They aren't exactly trying to drown one another, either. They, as a company, both know that sometimes they're going to have to rely on each other to make what they're existing for (MONEY).
It's why you see them make deals with each other like the recent Windows 7 + Sony VAIO deals.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe that deal was for an Xbox 360 and Toshiba laptop deal.
Sony and Microsoft have been making deals between Sony Vaios and Windows 7 for a while now. Every Vaio is supposed to come with Windows 7 installed now. You can even see that in most Windows 7 commercials, there is a Sony laptop present somewhere (including one where a mother and child were looking for laptops and found a Vaio while mentioning "Blu-Ray!")
Seriously, if they EVER put that feature back in, I will not be using the video chat rooms much longer.
