"Looks like PS3center is already trying to establish the damage control talking points ahead of time."
You would know, dude. You get on that DC Wagon everytime a pro-PS3 article comes around...
Good luck beating Mass Effect 2, God of War III, Galaxy 2, Heavy Rain and Red Dead Redemption.
And I was just naming the ones released so far. Think you're up to the challenge?
Yes. Sony acquired them just after the PlayStation 2 launch, I believe. Quote from Wiki:
"Naughty Dog, Inc. is an American video game developer based in Santa Monica, California.Founded by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin in 1986 as an independent developer, the studio was acquired by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2001."
They definitely stand out more-so than they did last generation (despite developing good games then, too). What I love most about them is the way they can make a game as publicly praised as Uncharted 2, get record-breaking amounts of awards both GOTY and otherwise, and simply go back to work like it never happened.
They don't let success get to them. They make a game, it does very well, and it's time to get working on the next project. I see that in developers like GG...
I just found a difference:
Ninja Theory - We made the game, but we didn't have the passion to believe in it. We went through with it anyways.
Insomniac - We were making Girl with a Stick, but we (nor Sony) had the passion to believe in it. So we scrapped in favor of Ratchet & Clank.
Quantic Dream - We believed in our product as something visionary and something we truly wanted to do. We didn't think it would be a commercial succes...
He didn't even say it's something completely different. From what I understand, he said that the Wii is a product that must be used to play the Wii, whereas Move is "complimentary".
In that light it's different. In concept, it's the same.
That would be great. I would love for Quantic Dream to reach out to more people who support their work, it it's probably not gonna happen and this certainly does provide any solid proof.
For one, the game heavily relies on the PlayStation controller. Every single button is used in the game and while changing them to be used as random keys is possible, I don't think it would bring the same effect.
Besides, it's not like they need to. The game liter...
You sound like a man!
... I think Natal has enough problems with one person in it's line of sight.

FLAIL MOAR!
Not if it comes with a game for that price.
I'm starting to think MS leaked this price out to hear the overall reaction. I saw a poll on G4 that said 6% of their audience would pay that much.
If my instincts are correct, MS is peeking around the corner thinking: $150 = BAD IDEA
They should call it "Teh Bestest Thing Evar!!"
I'm serious. I'm wondering how many people would like it.
"Hey, you wanna play Teh Bestest Thing Evar!!?!!"
You musta been the one millionth customer!!!! hehe
I love how my joke was trolling.
I wasn't even bashing Natal. Hell, my comment didn't even say "Natal". Oh well. Day in the life at N4G, I guess.
It means imaginary friends are going out of business thanks to Milo.
just kidding.
Who's the asshole up front with the cell phone?!
Can't you see Killzone 3 is in front of you?! GTFO of the way!!!
*executes KZ3 Brutal CQC move*
EDIT: Is it just me or is there no sound? I really wanna hear this but I don't know if it's just my headphones.
Did you read the rest of it?
1. They sold close to 9 million games on PS3.
2. It reached it faster than Tools of Destruction.
3. 1 million is good in sales. You just think it's low because you're used to hearing "Wii Fit sold 10 million", "Halo sold 10 million", "MW2 sold 15 million", "Farmville is played by 80 million".
Numbers are thrown around in this industry just as much as...
I would love life.
Man..... can you just imagine? Still, I'm sure fanboys would still exist. Somehow, we'd find a way to track the amount of individual plays a game has got and fanboys would be like "this game got more plays than that one, OoOoOoOoOoOooO!!11!"...
Eh, what would I care? I would much rather have game fanboys than console fanboys. I myself was a game fanboy (honorary GTA, MGS, Crash Bandicoot, SOCOM, GT fanboy).
I was thinking the exact same thing.
This has led me to believe we'll be seeing "Girl with a Stick" coming soon for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Or if not, maybe they'll make a game inspired by it. Or maybe EA wants them to make this and Insomniac is curious as to whether or not this would have been as big or bigger than R&C.
I was just about to correct you on that point. lol
Turns out Sony was right to give a little insight into what they thought would work. Choosing Ratchet & Clank over Girl with a Stick was an industry-changing deal that both companies would ultimately be right for doing (Sony and Insomniac).
Probably none, because they never did.
I know you're trying to make MS's customer service seem godly, but the fact that you allegedly went through six in 5 years max says that if they were dicks about your console problems, they would get sued in a heartbeat.
But, of course, you wouldn't sue them, right? They made your favorite console, whether your story is real or not. The fact that a 3 year warranty is comforting to you says a lot. 3 year warra...
