God of War has aged amazingly, GoW II even more so. Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee & Exoddus have aged very well, brilliant games.
A lot of heat for multiplayer DLC. I wish we got some single player DLC, they should have made Polythemus & Stheno into epic single player bosses to help with the pacing and have some more cinematics to add to the story.
I can't wait for their new IP, they need to take their sweet time with God of War IV and make sure it's the best in the series and hopefully it can steal GoW3's record as the most acclaimed + bestselling game in the genre of all time.
The Last of Us is my favourite game of the year so far but you'd have to be crazy to think it'll beat GTAV for GOTY. GTA V will average 96-98% on reviews aggregates and will mop up the largest majority of awards. It just will.

You've never played a God of War game before have you? You only HAVE to do them to finish boss fights, sex mini-games or rarely during platforming/set-piece moments. Around 95% of the games are QTE free and they aren't even annoying like the majority of other games that use them poorly.
I love how every Microsoft fan runs to God of War to use as an excuse for the excessive reliance on QTEs in Ryse: Son of Rome as if they're even remotely comparable.
It's an amazing looking game, especially for a huge sandbox environment. The PS4 version will be the best on consoles and it'll be very close on the Xbox One. The Wii U version will look near identical to the PS3 & Xbox 360 version, which will still look great I'm sure.
It sold about 400K-500K copies at around full price and the rest were sold at bargain bin prices. So even though 2 million sounds like a lot, it took too long and 75-80% of units sold at a very cheap price.
So yeah, it's not terrible but it's not great either, if it was Bayonetta 2 would be coming to the PS3, 360 & Wii U.
I didn't think it was that good either, best in the genre? That depends. Are God of War & Bayonetta even in the same genre? I agree with what you're saying though, people need to understand that the framerate a game runs at is the choice of the developer and not because of the console. Everything on the PS3/360 could run at 60fps if the devs chose to degrade the graphics quality but most chose to go with more impressive visuals at 30fps which is perfectly fine. ...

As for the list. Yes to #5, #4 & #2. Don't want another Uncharted after playing The Last of Us, hopefully they create a new IP and continue TLoU. Never been interested in the Knights of the old Republic games.
Agree with Tomb Raider (enjoyed it more than UC1/2/3, I really like UC2 btw) and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (one of the best games in the genre ever). Both of those games are absolutely brilliant. Never into both series until the reboots and now I'm a huge fan who's excited for the future of both series.
Have never played a DMC game before nor the DmC reboot so I can't comment on that game, it doesn't look as bad as people make it out to be though. Will buy ...

Nah, The Last of Us is a bigger blockbuster console seller than any of the Uncharted games and Crash Bandicoot is by far the biggest franchise Naughty Dog have ever created, shame they no longer have the rights.

That's nonsense in the case of a game like God of War. How can you turn ripping a finger nail off a titan, gouging the eyes out of Poseidon, ripping the legs off Hermes, pulling Helios' head off etc, into gameplay? It's impossible.
