First of all, UC3 the Avatar of gaming? Not even close, why would you even say that? Video games won't be there for a long time and I'm not just talking about visuals, everything from sound, pacing, environment to characters and storytelling.
And PS4 games aren't going to be rendered at 4k, 4k is only for movies.
I can't believe people want UC4 after UC3, that game was the laziest effort of 2011 and one of the most disappointing sequels ever....

Please stop with Uncharted, the series isn't even a system seller. Sony desperately tried to make it popular by mass bundling the games adding 1.5-2 million sales but it's still not a beloved or popular series, also it peaked at UC2 and UC3 proves they can't think of anything else but to recycle the exact same formula started with UC2.

No, Heavy Rain was a 7.5 'game', Alan Wake is an amazing 9/10 game. Also Alan Wake sold well over 2m on the 360 alone (including digital) and sold very well on PC too so obviously story driven games indeed appeal to 360 users.
Alan Wake is all about about the story, characters, environment and atmosphere. The gameplay is the least important part of the game but even then it's just as solid as any other popular TPS in the gameplay department.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Alan Wake, Bioshock 2 and Resistance 3 are underrated gems, all incredible games.
All 3 movies based on these series would suck.
Mass Effect - Too rich a universe to be distilled into a 2-3 hour movie.
Uncharted - Too shallow and uninteresting to make for a good 2-3 hour movie.
MGS - Too convoluted and weird to be made into a 2-3 hour movie.

Not that Ryse looks bad, it looks nice but not amazing no matter how many effects Crytek list that are in the game. It's a fact that the PS4 is more powerful than the X1, more so than the PS3 was to the 360, so expect Sony's exclusives to look noticeably better.
Exactly, PC's massively out-power the PS3 but games like God of War: Ascension, The Last of Us & Beyond Two Souls are still beautiful even compared to the best looking games on PC. The PS3 has some amazing exclusive games, every gamer should own a PS3. God of War III, The Last of Us, Uncharted 2, LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Solid 4 and many more. Sony has never been as strong as they have been this generation in terms of 1st party exclusives, exciting that it'll only get even better from here onwards.
I think a variable framerate is fine for certain games, as long as it doesn't fluctuate too much. Like God of War 3, it runs are 30-60fps but most people could never tell because when it does vary it'll either hang around 35, 40, 45, 50 etc depending on what's going on and will stay at a certain fps range until the set-piece or fight is done then shoot back up to 50-60. Also having nice motion-blur effects and an automated camera help the fps variation look less noticeable.
lol, perception problem, sure. The truth is that kinect is the reason the Xbox One will lose a huge chunk of market-share to the PS4 and spits on what the Xbox 360 did for the brand. Without kinect, at £350/$400 & more powerful hardware etc, it could have been a real competitor and a huge success, doubt it now.

I think it is the most impressive looking game, when the characters aren't moving at least. Animation needs work.
I don't think it looks like a God of War clone, it's more similar to Assassin's Creed and the Batman games combat and it appears to be aiming to be a more realistic than a full on fantasy game. Also I prefer the story in GoW 2 + 3, they're much more grand, more characters, make more use of Greek Mythology and are more memorable. Opinions eh.
I wonder if this game would even have a multiplayer component if it weren't for God of War: Ascension. I think they shoul've just focused on the single player since they had such a short amount of time to make the game in the first place, now both the SP & MP will suffer.
No, just because Ascension lacked in the story department doesn't mean Kratos has to be replaced. He still has so much more potential to grow if they continue after GoW3... GoW:A was just one prequel too many.
Also Kratos is Sony's Mario/Master Chief, you can't just replace your most iconic & popular character.
lol, God of War: Ascension shouldn't be on anyone's worst games of 2013 list, there's been some truly horrible games this year and whilst GoW:A is disappointing it's actually a good game, top 5 of the year so far imo. A very solid 8.5/10 title.
