Anyhoo, I am gettting sick of this - Ninty always has taken a ridiculous amounof time to do pal releases - Trauma centre has been out almost since launch in the US. Hell, we won't be getting elitebeat agents on the DS until the end of july!

There are a few of us gamers here that are not biased either way, but we are vastly outnumberd by fanboys.
While I have no problem with someone having a favourite, I just find it difficult how SOME POSTERS can go to the extent of posting 'anti-competing console' flame bait in articles about the other consoles. Why can't we all just get along.....
but oblivion does look better on the Ps3 though.
It just shows that the right developer and some more time can make a difference in quality.
Garnet from the 1UP network recently commented on the 360 version and said that the graphics are better - but only slightly.
According to him, the characters look just about the same, but you can see a slight difference in the expansive, wide open backgrounds in some of the levels.
So all in all they are almost identical graphically wise, but saying that, they have had more time to work on the 360 version - the same can be said for the PS3 version of oblivion ...

I have always liked the 1up site and podcasts. Never been a fan of gamespot though.
While I do think that MSG 4 will show up on the 360 at somepoint, I certainly think that it will be in some form of 'special edition' - as the PS3 is the lead platform, it will take time to optimise things for the 360.
I would speculate at least a 6 month timed exclusive for the PS3. To be fair, I don't recall that the original xbox versions of metal gear sold too well - I'm sure theMart can help with numbers
I honestly think that MS has to come out and be honest about the situation, they will get far better respect in the long run.
If these probems are as widespread as internet rumbilings are (and I am not saying that they are as bad, but they do exist) then there is a definate quality issue and it should be addressed. As a goodwill gesture at least.
It is not as if MS has no money or anything, they can easily afford to repair all defective consoles for free.

Simple fact of reality if one particular platform dominates the generation, to the extent of 'killing off' the competition, then the market will become stagnant with no real innovation: only competition drives these companies to truely innovate.

I would not take game release schedules on the game website as gospel.
But I am somewhat dissapointed that if true, we won't get to play it until next year.
