Fantastic news - I have been following the Alone in the Dark game for sometime and I am glad it is due this year.
Only problem is, with all these games coming out, I am going to be seriously lacking in the funds dept.

Totally agree, if the PS3 would be the lead platform then I would say that the chances are it would be a much better game on the PS3 as opposed to the 360 counterpart.
But the reality is that there isn't that many games in the pipeline that are using the PS3 as the lead development platform.

A true hardcore gamer has all 3 platforms so they can have the best of all worlds.
While I do love my Wii, I do see the point in the article - we certainly do not want all games to be the mini game/party game variety. I like both the casual game, like Wii sports as I can play with my partner or my friends, but I also like the single player experiences too - like zelda, oblivion too.
We need this generation to be a close finish ...

While the graphics of this generation are great, I stilll look at the upcoming games like crysis and wish that those kind of experiences would be possible on the current systems.

I have a 360 and Wii and plan on buying a PS3 very soon, I have all the platforms so I can have access to all the games, I am no fanboy. I just like to have the option of buying every good game that is released, regardless of the platform.

Look, each system will have thier own AAA games and they will help push hardware sales.

You are forgetting that the Wii has sold an incredible amount in such a short time - and IMO, I just don't see it tailing off anytime soon.

Themart is talking out his a$$ - there is widespread knowledge that the 360 has a dubious reliability record to say the least - the 1 up guys have openly said on thier podcast that out of the 11 original units (including several debug units too) several of them have had to havce been sent back to MS.
