yeah, but I am sure properly implementing 3d graphics in a platformer and revoulutionising console control schemes doesn't matter either though?
plonker
How the fook can someone disagree with MK's statement?.
The flame wars here are having a detrimental effect on this forum - there are fanboys posting inflamatory articles in a blatant who's console is best pissing war.
Get over it people, there is more than enough room in this market for all three consoles to do relatively well. And as long as the best performance is achieved from each platform, then I will be happy. Competition breeds innovation or have you fanb...
TOTALLY AGREE
so, in essence they deliverately held back the development just to get the game out for christmas then?
come on, while I did enjoy gears, it was incredibly short, which indicates to me that maybe a DVD just can't hold the data for such a graphically intensive games like gears and have it as a 30-49 hour game too.
As I said, I stand by the fact that this article has decended into a 'my console is better than your console'
p!ssing contest from the fanboys and thus decended into a flamewar
Also the poster in the forums freely admits it was cut and pasted from another forum and from what I see does not show where he cut if from, so the source isn't actually the original poster.
There may be contributers that will freely approve blatant flamebait stories from blatant f...
I knew straight away this article would become a flame fest.
Who cares? I mean each platform are gonna get great exclusive games and access to the multiplatform stuff anyway.
You really are a complete retard.
You have actually no clue about the world - are your primary care givers, you know the ones that wipe your arse actually know you are on the internet?
That is so true, the amount of flamebait 'news' stories for a news site is getting ridicuous.
We have to end that kind of nonsense, or else this once great site will have the credibility of the Daily Sport.
I agree that there definately has to be something done about all the blatant fanboy tinted, platform bashing article posted here on a regular basis - this site was once fantastic and I believe had a stellar future, but in recent times, it has fallen foul to fanboys.
I know - we still do not have the Wii version of Trauma centre too,
PULL THE FINGER OUT NINTENDO!!!!!!
Dude, I don't give a rat's ass how many games or hd movies you have - all it shows that you have a large bank balance and nowt much else to spend it on.
I don't think you are more of an enthusiast for the industry because you have every game released for the 360 - it shows that to be honest, you have poor taste when you buy some of the crud that is released for the 360.
OH and F.Y.I, your myspace page is horrendous.
I competely agree with you, but I am concerned that there may be a large number of 360's out there with no harddrives - there will come a time where certain games will have to be gimped so that they can play on the core system, long loading times etc will become the norm, where as with a harddrive, some of the data can be preloaded onto it - I think that if games are to be truely multiplatform with no difference between the platforms with regards to graphic/experiences then the lack of a hard...
Thank God MS is such a profitable company.
I just can't see any other company willing to make such a loss on all of their SKU's
Especially since Ninty could easily drop the price to $150 and still make a profit on it....
BUT, it is always good to bring in new users.
As it is a repost.
Square is a Japanese company - they will release the game to suit the Eastern market first. The west, in regards of their are secondary.
It is simple as this - they will release it on the PS3 for the eastern fans as it will reach more of a user base there and if they wish to reach the western market on a wide scale, they will port it to the 360.
But it not become a 360 exclusive in any way - it would alienate their home market far too much.
But IMO, if it is a well known fault, then it does not matter if it happens outwith the warranty - they should fix the fault - I agree that the disc scratching problem was in a small minority- I am sure it had something to do with a certain brand of disc drive, but on the red ring problem - there has to be something done about it.
Totally agree -
I have been folloing this game for a while - I personally hope this lives up to my own personal hopes for this game.
I dunno man, making a multiplatform game out of a single platform game isn't jumping ship - merely adapting to the escalating developing costs of this generation.
Besides, I hope they do go multiplatform - if they keep the PS3 as the lead development platform, we wil finally see what a PS3 port on the 360 looks like - will they be inferior, will they look better?
Who knows. But it is a good day for everyone when games like this go multiplatform - the devout brand...
I would prefer answers to reliability issues that surround the 360.
There just seems to be so many reports of users on their 3/4th console. In my mind that is totally unnaccetable for a manufacturer to have this kind of problem. They should be held accountable for this.
no, if the defective unit numbers are a significant amount then they should release a product recall - nintendo had to do it many, many years ago, difficult, but it was the right thing to do.
