I will defiately get one of these - Ninty has really dropped the ball on some of the euro releases, hell we are still waiting for the Wii version of Trauma centre in the UK!
completely agree bud - we need numbers first - bubble for you
Themart below-
cheers for the stats bud.
What we need to realise it that this kind of thing has been happening for years- comic books, horror movies, music of certain genres and now games - it just seems that the ultra conservative fear anything that seems to capture the youth of that particular time.
Then it just shows your ignorance in general - if you can spell it right in the title, then you should be able to spell it correctly EVERYWHERE else.
If I were to try and type something down in your own language, then you could bet your ass I would spell it correctly EVERYTIME I type it, it is only common courtesy after all.
BTW - as I am probably older than you, it probably should not be 'son' but probably 'sir'
here we go again....
EUROPEAN it is spelled EUROPEAN.
Where exactly are you from again?
<EDIT>
How can someone disagree with the correct spelling of something?
COMPLETELY AGREE BUD - This site has went to the dogs where fanboys approve other fanboys article purely to further their own little personal war.
Wether this is the case here, it is up for debate, but it does happen on a wide scale here and the site's credibiity as a news source has suffered for it.
You see, this is the reason that guys like Thompson can stand on thier soapbox and try to preach about, to be quite honest, games that are blatantly unsuitable for minors should not be banned - there just has to be greater control on them.
While I am definately against a ban on any kind of freedom of expression - especially as you are not actualy killing anyone, but merely playing a role in a game. It does seem to me that certain games, only certain games mind should not be all...
Very good article bud - I was planning to post, but I was at work when I heard.
I wonder actually which version was reviewed too, as the Wii version supposedly has a lot of mimic actions in it actual killing sections.
Up in Scotland it is either ASDA Wal-mart (the huge stores) or ASDA.
But I agree with everyone else - it is a nice feelgood story and I wish the best to the child and his family.
You are such a jackass.
For once this was a feel good stoy that didn't have to be spoiled by fanboy nonesense. Thank goodness you only have one bubble and can only pollute this once great site once per story.
What we need to realise is that the term 'exclusive' has changed a lot in recent years - Peter moore has said that his idea of an exclusive means that it wil released on a particular platform first - i.e a timed exclusive.
In this day and age, big budget games are costing millions and to keep them to once singluar platform usually isn't in the companies best interests.
BUT when $50 million is getting thrown about - it does offer interesting buisiness, to say th...
I directly replied to you as you posted no corrobirating evidence to support your claims, now that you have, I have no probs accepting what you said.
Lets be fair - the amount of wild speculative claims made by various fanboys on this site has made me a little, well, sceptical of what some people say without actual evidence to back it up. It isn't that you have been like that, it is just the way the site has been headed recently.
yes I have a 360 and a ps3 and a ...
may I ask how you know how long the expansions/episodic content for GTA is?
At this point price/content statements are purel speculation.
Don't get me wrong, I probably will pick up the 360 version instead of the PS3 version, but at the end of the day, they have to recoup the cash somewhere - and guess what it will be out of our pockets with microsoft points.
Wasn't the 360 released 4 years into the cycle rather than 5 years?
I mean, it held then in great stead, they are miles ahead in sales and exclusives.
I can agree with you for once on the Wii (god I feel so dirty) but if Ninty can tap into the 'iPod' kinda business model where they release an improved model year or so, keeping the same price, then if it did strike the popular chord as it seems to be doing then they could easily go on releaseing small updated consoles every couple of years and the gaming public MAY lap it up.
Also, if MS drops te 360 core to $199, then Ninty, as they are turning a profit left right and centre ...
I am assuming that your 500 hours are in total, including multiplayer?
What if the person playing doesn't like online play? What then? I generally do not like to play through story modes (other than resi evil) more than once - which IMO, reduces gears to barely an 8 hour game.
At no point I said Ninty was perfect - every company has their mistakes like any other.
While I agree with the superlative voice acting, I did not rate Manhunt at all- after playing the game I found it nothing more than a sneak 'em up with gore fest fatalities.
The above posts are very well though out and presented. Please don't think I am getting on at you guys but:
While I am against censorship in general, as long as no one is hurt, I can't help but agree with previous posters that manhunt was concieved with nothing but sensationalist overreaction planned...
