If the Slim comes out in NA and is at a decent price, I'm picking one up.
Tbh, the 3DS just isn't doing it for me. I need a change of pace.
Black Tusk was apparently working on a new IP before this.
Now we're back to more Gears.
Creativity am cry
[Hype Intensifies]
I know, it's scary. We can't really listen to anyone's opinion without suspecting them of being a shill now.
What is Sessler is a shill?
What if IGN's a shill?
What if you're a shill?
What if *GASP* I'M a shill?
Shills! We're all shills!
I can live with that, I just want some Vita slim goodness here in NA and UK.
Clearly Pachter hasn't played Journey.
It's not that I'm not going to play it, it's that I'm not sure if it's worth shelling out $60 for. The last game I paid full price for was CoD: Ghosts, and I was thoroughly burned on that.
I'll wait and see how gameplay looks, then decide whether I should wait until it gets a discount.
*sniff sniff*
Do I smell an acquisition?
More likely the same or lower than higher, since Sony is just going to try and get rid of excess stock to start pushing the new version.
I hope this comes to the states at a reduced price, most things usually do. If it comes here at $150-170, this will shift it from "wait and see" to "buy it" for me.
This is disappointing. I'm betting that it's going to be justified by the "online only" tag. It's true that split-screen is a dying art, but there are still several games such as Halo, Call of Duty, Left 4 Dead, and Killzone that still have split-screen available.
For the features in this game, or rather the lack of them, I'm not sure if I'd be willing to pay full price for it. It's slipping into the "wait until it's on sale" ca...
Speaking of supply droughts, if you check out:
http://www.nowinstock.net
That might help with finding a PS4 online if you're looking for one. Right now a lot of major retailers have them in stock. They're selling in bundles though, so they're going slower than normal.
It seems that rising game development costs is signaling the rise of Indies and Multiplats.
Most independent studios can't afford to produce exclusive games anymore unless given funding. That means more series will be going to multiple platforms. That's good in a sense, since no one will miss out on great games just because of what console they chose, but it makes exclusives even more important when it comes to defining a specific console's appeal.
Eh. Not much there that I'm interested in. Decent deals on headsets though.
Those are nice, but I'm a cheapskate so I'll probably try and find a cheap $10 headset at Radioshack :S
That and if people can only buy one console, they have to self-justify that it's the "best" choice they could have made with their money.
That includes defending their console of choice from critics and supporters of other consoles. No one wants to feel like they made the "inferior" purchase.
Hey, it's a collector's item.
You want to know a more recent super rare game? NBA Elite 11. The game was canceled right before it was about to release. It's worth nearly $700 now.
I guess that's OK.
I'll just have to pick up a next-gen console sooner :)
@thor Next gen consoles really don't start being called "current gen" until either the previous gen consoles stop receiving support, or the next gen has attained a large enough adoption rate. Given there's only about 4.5M PS4s compared to about 81M PS3s in the wild, I'd still say it's next gen.
Lol I hope not, my wallet is already shriveling up at the thought of March.
Infamous: SS
Final Fantasy Remaster
Titanfall
South Park: SOT
and more!
I'm not even sure if they should develop for the Wii U at all. The install base is so small, they'd be better off developing it for Vita instead of the Wii U.
Ahhhhhh I see what you did there
