Drop the price, then we'll talk.
True, EA is so shady, it's frustrating to watch them get in bed with these exclusivity deals. Still, it's not like they had much of a choice, being a new developer. If they developed with MS straight up, they would have had to give up the IP entirely. Hopefully they make enough money from this game to do a full sequel.
But I digress, that's why I have a PC. Can't wait for the 14th, we'll get to know a lot more about the game and how it plays.
@Truefan
Money can't get people to buy your console. That's the truth.
The verdict:
It's a fun, addictive shooter, and it will be successful. But it will not be a game changer. It's a new IP, and the prospect of being online only will be a turn-off to some. It's deserving of the hype, but it's not a "savior" by any means.
@S8
Watch as they throw giant robots into the next Call of Duty lol

Lie on your KNEES console peasantzzz
/sarcasm
That feature scared the crap out of me in Killzone :P
Yeah if it comes for PS3 and not PS4, that'd be really odd.
Sony made the machine for the developers
Developers make games for the gamers
Gamers give their support to Sony
Everybody wins
Emulate.
As great as the idea of streaming sounds, there's always going to be latency issues as long as there's distance between your (sexy) PS4 and the PSNow server. While streaming might be great for slow-paced games and strategy titles like TLoU and Uncharted, fast-twitch games like CoD are going to be a problem. Any ping that's over 100ms is going to feel a bit noticeable, not to mention the input lag and TV lag piled on top of that.
I hope So...
Nope. They don't conflict because they're on different platforms. If there was any overlap, then they would, but there's not.
PS owners will buy Infamous: SS.
Xbox owners will buy Titanfall.
It's a good thing to just hand out Titanfall swag instead of DLC codes.
The Amazon and Best buy deals look like the best ones. The strategy guide will be nice if you don't want to look up stuff on the internet. On Best Buy's side, free money is free money.
It's probably going to pretty high priced at the outset, so it will only be a niche item for the near future.
Hopefully it will become cheaper as development costs lower and computing power increases.
Can't wait for Outlast, but I'll let my wallet rest in preparation for March.
"Titanfall will change gaming"
Whoa now, let's not get carried away here. It's going to be a fun game, for sure. But let's see how well it does critically before we start bestowing any "Game of the X" awards.
IMO: It's fun, but it seems more evolutionary than revolutionary.
Meh. Bundles like this are fine. I just hate it when retailers bundle games no one wants to get rid of stock.
A disc drive wouldn't really shave must cost off the console, considering most drives cost about $30 to make and install. They'd be better off dropping the Kinect.
@Dark
Why would they do that? At that point you might as well make an HD Remaster :)
Just give them time, there's always a drought in the first year or so of a console launch.
I'd like a new Vita title, even though I don't own one. Hell, I already own KZ:M and a few other Vita games. Never owned a Vita, just waiting for a good deal.
Cool!
Now do PS4 and Wii U next.
