"Plus taking about input lag makes it seem like you forget that can download plenty of games on PS Now."
In which case you can alter the 800+ to 300+. Streamings biggest hurdle is pretty much the input lag. Remote play even has questionable amounts of input-lag to the point of ruining the experience of turned-based RPGs like Persona 5. One day I'll have to try streaming Quantic Dreams games because I imagine it being a nightmare trying to play. It's the pr...
@Hardiman
Plotting "the best" route has never once been done by me and I've encountered no difficulty from doing this. Item management is near irrelevant. If you need grenades the game gives them to you during a boss fight. Timefall barely affects packages, and you can just use repair spray for the important stuff. I swear I've got S rank atleast 80% of the time so I must be planning subconsciously without any real thought.

I addressed RE7 in my comment. VR is used in a supplemental capacity. It is not mandatory and the gameplay does not push its usage in the way that HL: A is.
@Larrysweet
Which is why it's gone on to sell millions and push us into to a new age of VR gaming/s
You can enjoy as many VR games as you like, but the fact remains that there isnt a single major system seller for it. There is no one single ...
You pull out the add-on game, MGS Charades, and make the necessary actions to tell people what's happening in the scene. Not much to explain in the actions, but it will take a comparable amout of time to MGS cutscenes for the players to correctly guess what the person is acting out.
You found Death Stranding difficult? Are you referring the challenge the game offers, or am I misunderstanding your use of the word?
@The_Sage
"Attention spans are so short these days."
Honestly, I think you underestimate the likelihood that people important priorities in their lives. Not everyone thinks gaming is the hippest thing on the planet. Some have time for maybe an hour of a multiplayer game every-other day, and I can't imagine finding the same enjoyment if I tried to break up my playtime of BotW, God of War, or The Witcher 3 into 1 hour play sessions per day.
If we're 100% honest VR isn't in the position it needs to be in yet. It's in a place where developers are still figuring out how to adapt to the design required for a dedicated VR game. The fact that the platform doesn't have a single major system seller that can only be played through VR is a big sign of its youth. AAA's so far only make use of it in a supplemental capacity.
I think Half-Life: Alyx could end up going a long way in pushing VR, and give ...

"almost 3 years in and the Switch HASN'T CLOSED THE GAP EVEN FOR A BIT"
This ^^^ is factually inaccurate and shows that he can't actually read the graph. The graph CLEARLY shows that the Switch has overtaken the PS4 twice in the gap chart. Why are you talking about total sales in an article that is clearly measuring sales achieved in the same lifetime? If the logic of this article goes over your head then you have no business ta...
You w0t m8? Do you even know how to read the graphs in this article?
@badz
You also offer the cutest of bait <3
Getting 1/3rd of the players to finish any game is an accomplishment. Even a masterpiece like God of War got little more than half to finish the main story. It's not a big deal at the end of the day; it's just the norm.
Agreed. Anyone who think Dexit is the main concern is fooling themselves.
@_SilverHawk_
That's some cute bait.
And technically because Disney just buys everything. They're always going to get bigger and bigger.

"I'm a little confused about trans identity. Say if a female transitions to a male, does she want to know be know as a 'trans-man' or just as a man? Same for male to female."
It's in the definition of transgender. Someone who's identity doesnt line up with their birth sex. Once you've transitioned it doesnt then mean the term no longer applies. However, it doesnt mean you walk around calling them a trans-ma...

"How could it possibly beat having the game installed locally."
He literally said 'supplementary'. He never claimed it would beat playing natively.
@2pacalypsenow
Atticus is actually correct. For too often we've been using the binary model which is only accurate to a point, and biologists have in recent times been moving to the bimodel system. Did you know that we have facial recognition systems that cant 100% tell us whether people are Male and female? So the rules of what looks male and female arent so simple. We have two very common results and then uncountable variations among people who even fit themselves int...
Your "benefit" would frequently ruin gameplay when someone raises their arms too high. If someone has their right arm move across to the left hand side of the screen it'll clip into their vision, creating a constant annoyance. Not only that but the tech cant track your arm movements so it wouldnt be "closer" as your arm position will never match the position of the in-game arm.
Satisfying your personal need for realism at the cost of gameplay is not ...
Thats genuinely surprising. Worth remembering the amount of cynicism there was about Nintendo in regards to 3rd part support on Switch, and look at them now. They've made huge progress so imagine what hey can accomplish if they're consistent with next-gen in getting 3rd party support.

"Actually vr does have system sellers"
Any game can be called a system seller if theres even a minor sales spike during its launch. Notice how I used the word major? As in a game that goes on to sell millions and push hundreds of thousands and maybe millions of units. That's a real system seller, and VR currently doesnt have one of those. Every major game you could name is supplemented with VR capabilities, but never makes i...
