Which suggests this games story could play a big role in depicting how her relationships are affected. While the first games story had her relationships as a huge focus it never showed them directly or how they evolve. I think it would be interesting to have that shown in Hellblade 2.
@ShadowWolf712
"That's exactly why I have qualms with franchising it. It feels kinda tasteless."
You're coming across like a bit of a concern troll atm. This game can't have a sequel/successor because it handled a very serious subject matter? You should've known this was coming because the ending to Senua's Sacrifice has her look straight into the camera and basically tell you there would be another installment.
I actually do it when I'm waiting during matchmaking for Dota 2. Play a little round of Hearthstone. Very good feature, but I'd like it if you could have the option to see whats happening on screen for the other title while actively playing the other. I think thats where this feature will find really shine.
Waiting for a friend to join your lobby in something like Halo? Play a round of another game like COD while you're waiting or make some progress on a single ...
We should wait for confirmation, but I think it might be safe to assume we could do so with a game as long as the physical disc is still in the system and then a downloaded title. Ofc we should push for clarity from MS.
"Just let it Fayed away"
I will allow this article to fayed away.
Actuvision only handled the publishing from a distribution perspective. In JPN FromSoftware is the publisher. So this isnt really an Activision game.
Gameplay is king, so Sekiro is naturally a better choice imo. I know I'll be returning to Sekiro for years to come, and I feel like that's a sign of something being GOTY quality.
Well deserved. Had a lot of heavy hitters to compete with for the award too. Gameplay is king for me, and I can't think of another on the list that does it quite as well as Sekiro.
Resi2 deserves some attention as well as I think that game has stellar level design and presentation.
Nah, doubt it. Valve doesnt really need to offer this to compete, so I dont think its even on their mind d.
This is pretty much EGS's one standout feature. They lose it, they lose the war with Valve.
@Godmars290
No you're misremembering history. Into Darkness actually brought in more money than ST09. He didn't wreck the franchise if the movie you're referencing as a "franchise wrecking ball" ade it more popular.
"Proof enough that the man's a franchise wrecking hack who managed to hand off TLJ to, if not a bigger less competent hack, then someone who should have been vetted better."
JJ didn't ...
I wouldn't go that far. The core gameplay of most MGS games is very good. But Death Stranding? It's basically getting praise for taking some of the most despised tropes of open-world games, and making them a mandatory part of the core gameplay loop while doing nothing to make improve them.
"I think at the end of the day he is a master of teasing and getting people interested in his games either through media or social interations."
I don't know if we can even say that. The MGSV marketing campaign of pretending it was a completely different game for months in no way contributed to the hype. If anything it irritated people that Konami wouldn't just acknowledge MGSV was actually happening. Death Strandings marketing began long before Sony paid ...

"So yeah f**** me for supporting them for years and just wanting an optional standard mode for their new games.”
You fit the definition ^^^
Entitled: believing oneself to be inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment.
You're literally arguing that if someone has bought a lot of Valves products they deserve special treatment. You're demanding they cater to you because you've open...
@Spenok
"I'm expecting closer to 90-100 mil myself. Especially at this rate."
Personally think that might be a bit out of reach. More than willing to be proven wrong though. Would be quite the accomplishment considering all the negativity pre-release. We were told the Switch would be dead within a few months and now those people are mysteriously silent, lol.
"The only thing I can really see being affected is 3rd party...
In which case, can we consider the fans motive to be pure damage control to shield their beloved god from any criticism?
@Narugo
If anyone looks at the new Star Wars movies and the first thing they say is "I think JJ is the problem" you're really jumping the gun. JJ isnt the best storyteller, but Awakens was decent; nothing amazing, but an acceptable reboot. However, The Last Jedi is a narrative clusterfuck of inconsistencies and bad characters.
Nah, JJ didn't destroy it. Star Wars still held a good reputation when all we had was Awakens and Rogue One, but...
@silvershiptrip
So when we have MULTIPLE reviews from them is it not better to look at the overall picture if you're claiming you want to look at what the organization as a whole thinks? Also, reviewers are not customer service or public relations reps...
It's a major problem. We cant have people thinking IGN has lots of different reviewers, both good and bad. Better to believe it's one giant hive mind... /s
@-Foxtrot
"And? People have been waiting for a new instalment of Valves big franchises for years...YEARS. We finally get them and it’s like “oh yeah sorry too bad, got to pay big bucks for a VR or tough shit”
And? This isn't an argument. The game doesnt appeal to you, but you're trying claim you have some sort of entitlement because you thought your wallet earned you a direct line to Gabes office. I've likely given more money to Valve tha...
GoT is not a PS5 title. If it was they'd have shown it running on one.
Godfall looks okay but Gearbox has never made a game that's on par with Hellblade. If I'm forced to choose between a "loota-slasher" and Hellblade 2, based on what we know thus far, I'm going with the latter.
