What if you're part of the 90% of console gamers that doesn't have a gaming rig that wants to play Xbox games? What do you do then?
Most likely they are but that not a bad thing, it's a smart business/marketing tactic. I'm sure if they hit a half million preorders they would have announced that by now.

Your "two friends" are still planning on buying Xbox games to play on their pc though right? Those two people that end up buying your friends Xboxes will surely buy games as well. Sounds like Microsoft just made out.
Couldn't disagree more. I'm a console gamer. You could give me a gaming rig and I'd never use it. The idea of gaming on a pc just doesn't appeal to me. The majority of console gamers would agree.

The pros for Xbox are more people to play with and additional sales leading to higher chance of more games.

Gamers complain that MS isn't clear about which platforms its games are releasing on so they make it clear and now you dig them about that.

You'll see more about cloud compute at gamescom during the crackdown 3 demo. Did you not know that crackdown 3 was the first game to more fully utilize that tech?
Yeah but then you're stuck gaming on a pc. Console gamers don't want to play games on a pc. They want the ease of plug and play couch co-op games. It's a different audience.
It sounded like my son and his friends while they're playing minecraft so i'd say it's a pretty realistic "script". A bit annoying though, yes. Game looks fantastic though.
That's not necessarily a bad thing. Its only spoiled for those that wanted it to be spoiled. I wanted to be surprised yet here I am looking for spoils like a junkie!
