Yeah, you could also do that with any game. Accolade trailers have been around a long time. Nothing new.

Probably too busy commenting in the 8, 9 and 10 reviews for the game. There's a lot of them to get through. :)

At launch it cost ms 396.00 to produce and package an Xbox one without Kinect. If cost of components is reduced by 50% every 18 months they can't be losing much at 299 and are probably making a little on each unit at 349. I'm no expert though so take that with a grain of Google.

Super excited! Can't wait to give it a go when I get home.

insanely low replayability? Can't you replay the game several ways to get different outcomes in many areas of the story?

As a huge Xbox fan I say bring all console exclusives to pc. As a console gamer, it doesn't affect me. I'll never have a gaming rig but pc gamers should get to enjoy the same great Xbox games. Soon we'll be swimming in the same pool anyway.

Or just people that don't play 24/7 so they don't notice if part of the service goes down for an hour or two. Like me. I haven't noticed any Xbox live or psn downtime since Christmas.

Because everyone owns a gaming rig right?

Than as a Xbox fan (according to your logic) I should be glad it's in second place otherwise we wouldn't get this awesome "plan b"

The idea of upgradable consoles shouldn't have a negative impact on consoles. It's simply providing more options and it's how it should have always been in my opinion. As long as you can play the same game on your Xbox one as you can on your new 4k Xbox one and pc, what's the big deal? Developers can develop a game on pc and let it scale down appropriately depending on which device you're running.

Maybe because the title doesn't make any sense?

3607d ago 8 agree15 disagreeView comment

then just don't do it. Maybe for others it's preferred. That's the great thing about options.

Haha you just complained!

I mean, hasn't this been Microsoft's goal for a while now? To unify the platforms. Seems like the logical next phase in this plan.

@kingthrash360

It only affects that small number of gamers that have a gaming rig and were considering an Xbox one. Console gamers will still be buying xbox one for exclusive games as they don't have a gaming rig. It's pretty simple actually.

Haha ok buddy.

I never understood it either. ark was my first early access game. I'm glad I took a chance though. Its the most fun ice had playing games with my boys in a while. Also, we really like dinosaurs.

Most users who own a ps4 and Wii u do not have a gaming rig setup. This news affects a very small number of pc gamers that were considering an Xbox one. If it saves a handful of gamers $300 bucks that's great. More money for MS, means more Xbox games. Win win.
