Let's hope so, that would be awesome and super appreciated. Gamertag Radio's had a developer interview from E3 where the developer said that Crackdown 3 comes with xbox one x. Kind of just breezed past that comment. I guess he could have meant it comes out the same day but the way he said it sounded interesting. Wasn't sure if anyone else caught that.
Jury's out November 7th for Cloud compute on Crackdown 3. Let's see if MS keeps their promise.

I think that's how 99% of videogames work. Hopefully it has some legs that carry it over the next couple of years but yeah, eventually...

Microsoft spent 400 million on the NFL marketing deal, not billions. This deal sounds different though. More like a sponsor for events and such.

Better looking games, better playing games, faster install times, faster load times are the reasons that I'm upgrading. and for some reason, I'm excited for the new 4k UI but that's just the UI nerd in me, most won't care about that.
Hm. I think we're looking at this from two different sides. You more so not having an xbox and not seeing the incentive to pick one up because you feel there are a lack of exclusives. And me who has an xbox and no shortage of games, exclusive or otherwise. For me, Microsoft has done more than enough to keep me happy this year with regards to games and exclusives. I don't know if the 7 xbox fans on this site agree with me or not.
I agree with CCGR. Way too many games on xbox to play right now to be hung up on whether or not somebody else can or can't play it. Performance and price are big for me as well. The games on xbox are there, they always have been. Certain sides just don't want to see that. Does PS4 have more? sure. so what? I'll never even play 10% of the games that are released this year. I don't think people truly realize how many games are released every year. It's like every year I have...

If that's what it takes for it to happen, probably. It might die down for a little bit until the Minecraft 4k graphics pack comes out. That 4k graphics pack is tied to the Play Together Update so PS4 won't be getting that unless they open up cross play. I would expect a huge uproar again when that happens. I think by then Sony will come around though. Fingers crossed :)
Maybe we shouldn't be so quick to judge on the graphics side. Their community manager already said that the "shine" is coming in the last couple of months so it's getting close. I've never been a fan of the cel shaded look, I've always thought it looked awful in every cel shaded game i've played but I got over it. Borderlands is a perfect example. The game looks terrible but it's a blast.
