Sony copies Microsoft just as much as Microsoft copies Sony. Not necessarily a bad thing.
Also, not sure what you mean about ms development houses. They've never been stronger while Sony's has been slipping this gen.

Don't his big AAA games typically take 3-4 years to make? I can't imagine this being any different unless it's a smaller, indie type experience. If it's AAA I think it's safe to assume it would hit at the very end of the PS4 lifecycle. Possibly even immediately brought up to 4k for PS5. All eyes are on him so he's going to want to take his time and do it right.
Personally, I love my kinect and I hope they make another one for the next xbox. Maybe just don't make it mandatory.

I think it has a chance to hit 1 million its first year but then a sharp drop to just under a million each year after that. It won't go mainstream but that was never the intention. I think it has a chance to end at about 5 million with the close of ps4.

VR is the coolest piece of tech that I never want to own. I want to play with it for couple of hours for a cool experience but no price point could get that thing in my house. When you have a family some toys are just too silly. Single college student, different story.
I think we just need to be realistic about what the adoption rate of this tech could be. If 10% of ps4 owners purchase psvr, that is huge for this kind of tech. It's a very tough market as it caters to a very niche crowd. I think 10% is being extremely generous though.
I'm fine with them using that tagline every year as long as they continue to back it up. 2016 definitely looks better than 2015 and 2015 was amazing.
