@Cloud haters, The first game to utilize cloud commpute in a really cool way comes out this year so that's when you'll be able to get your hands on the tech. If it's a success, i would expect to see more games take advantage of this tech in the future.
@Uptown soul
Scorpio isnt for the average customer though. Thats what the xbox one s is for. Scorpio is for the hardcore fans that want to take advantage of the extra power or have 4k tv's.
Don't worry PlayStation_5, people will be excited about you too.
I disagree. I'm content with my xbox one backlog and excited that some of those exclusives that I missed can be played on scorpio later this year. I always hear that xbox has no exclusives but what you mean to say is that they do not have any exclusives that appeal to you. THAT, I can totally get behind because I'm in the same boat with ps4 and wii-u. I've had a ps4 a little over 20 months now and a wii-u since launch and the first game i got was horizon zero dawn and splatoon. T...
Yes. Very real.
If gamefly got on board with digital rentals then yes, in a heartbeat. I hate physical media. Hate losing it, hate scratching it, hate storing it.
@cupofjo
Huh?
That's exactly what microsoft is expecting. They've stated that already. Xbox one S is for mass market, scorpio is for the more hardcore crowd. Two good options.
No they wont. You could give me the highest end gaming rig and I'll either sell it or put it in the garage. But one thing i will never do is game on pc. It just kills the fun for me. That's why consoles were created so that gamers dont have to deal with all the pc hassle.
It's not actually because it's just a high end option. phil spencer already said that the xbox one s will sell more over scorpio after scorpio launches.
@rpgsama,
Riiiight, because delaying games this year for the sake of spreading them out to next year would go over great with their fans, right? He's referring to games that haven't already been given release windows aka most of what will be revealed at e3 for next year.
You mean like every console launch in history?
I'm not seeing anyone getting "over excited". Hopefully a larger team means more QC resources. Looking forwarding to seeing what the new team can do.
This whole time I thought neir and nioh were the same game.
@mr dude,
you must not play very many console games then as they are all censored. As someone who used to work in game developent on the production side, censorship happend on every game i've ever worked on. You just dont hear about it because why would you?
Two separate departments working towards two separate goals. They can do both.
Mountains and mole hills over here. He made a compliment. He recognized quality. It happens millions of times per day all around the world. Let's not try to over analyze every compliment.
Your comment couldn't be further from the truth but you know that.
Unless they adopt a minecraft like model and release updates adding fresh content.
Ms was definitely arrogant at the start of this gen and made mistakes but so did sony with the ps3. Sony learned from their mistakes, hopefully MS does as well. 3rd console curse!
