As you can tell by my name, I'm an old school Spidey fan (for about 30 years now). I've yet to play a Spidey video game that really impressed me, and I'm hoping Treyarch won't let me down again. They were supposed to show something back at E3, but all we got was the crappy "3" poster. :{
"It would have been nice if M$ had thought of making HD DVD video games for 360, that would be sweet. But they left it to the alst minute and then said "oh well were going to make HD DVD drive an external add-on, no games will wun HD DVD discs"
Sorry, but you don't know what you're talking about. MS didn't "wait until the last minute"....they decided on DVD-9 a few years ago, when they first started designing the 360. Of course, at that time, there WAS no ...
"I have been grounded from 360"
LOL...sometimes it's GOOD to be 35 y.o. :D
But not very often. :(
...because it comes out for the 360 TODAY. It has nothing to do with whether or not it would be "inferior" on the PS3 (although it likely will be, based on similar games comparisons).
...for pointing out the OBVIOUS and COMPLETELY POINTLESS facts to me
crazyman -
"Well dont forget they pay tax too. Also the price of the 360 copy has gone down so if you buy it at the same time as the ps3 comes out then download, then we only pay slightly more "
As I'd already stated, I...like a few MILLION others...already bought the game, at launch, and have even purchased most of the DLC.
The fact is, Sony has NEVER supported a Beth...
Simple...make it a FREE DOWNLOAD for PC/360 owners. I paid $74 for the game (CE + tax), and another $10 or so for additional content later. PS3 owners will get the original game, + this expansion, which is said to add about 20 hrs of gameplay, for $60. Now tell me how in the f*** that's fair?! It shouldn't be more than 150 MS pts, at the most, or they're royally pissing in the faces of their fans.
Your "review" comes off as more of a "preview", with no score to punctuate your thoughts. Even a 5-star system would be better than nothing.
BTW, you failed to make any negative comments whatsoever, which is surprising considering how mediocre and flawed the game actually is. Your "review" comes off as being a tad biased, almost as if you were paid by Ubi.
The A.I. is horrible, the graphics are only slightly better than SC:CT...nowhere ...
Standard resolution for a PC media player vids is too low to be displayed on a large screen without sacrifice.
1.) It's Ubi...they go multiplatform as much as EA.
2.) GRAW was on the PS2, so it only makes sense for the next one to be on PS3
...it's not really a "review", if there's no score given, dumbass. And this game was a huuuge dissappointment; hopefully Ubi will make up for it with R6V and Assassin's Creed.
...is that Bethesda is including this in the PS3 version FOR FREE, while sticking it to the loyal PC/360 fans that have made them the success that they are. I, for one, will not be buying this; Beth can kiss my hairy white ass.
...has been on my "must have" list since I saw the first trailer from E3 2005. I was shocked when I heard they cancelled the PS3 version; since then, Sony has lost numerous other games and/or exclusives though. This game will be a nice change of pace from the shooters, rpg's and beat-em-ups. I can't wait.
...if you have "apathetic" in your vocabulary, and use it correctly, you aren't likely to make such a mistake. You've just proven to me you didn't even know "apathetic" was a word, and therefore just assumed he'd misspelled "pathetic"...ya dope. ;)
Who the f*** are you, tell me what I can/can't say/do?
I don't like party/kiddy games...PERIOD...regardless of the console it's on. The multiplatform games that are being made for the Wii will be slightly different, gameplay-wise, but not necessarily (or likely) BETTER. There just really isn't much on the Wii that attracts me right now; maybe in a year or 2, that will change. In the meantime, there's no less than 50 titles that I'll be buying for my 360, and most of them won't eve...
...ANYTHING can happen...it's largely up to the publisher when/if a game gets released, REGARDLESS of whether or not it's 100% done. I certainly wouldn't bet on Oblivion making it's release date, given Bethesda's track record.
But yeah, some things are easier to accept....like I said, gold status is a good indicator. But look at how many games get delayed, sometimes more than once...only to end up being a disappointment anyway. THAT'S the real problem I have with it. Someti...
As in, indifferent, or uninterested...and it's kinda true. This X-mas will tell the tale, since MS will only be up against the Wii, and will have ALOT more to offer than this time last year, in games. If they don't sell at least 2 million units in Europe through the holidays, Sony will seize control of that market once again, come Spring.
...and it only had a handful of good games. Apparently the GC wasn't much better, so it remains to be seen what the Wii has to offer. Since I'm not a fan of the party/kiddy genre (no Mario/DK for me, thanks), and I haven't played a Zelda game since the original, I really only see a couple exclusive titles that interest me. Maybe a couple years from now, when I can get a Wii for about $100-$150, and there are alot more worthwhile titles, I'll pick one up. The virtual console, I think, will...
...but I never pay attention to projected release dates.
When a game is said to have "gone gold", and/or it's on the shelf, then I know when I can buy it.
I've been disappointed so many times over the past several years, announcing future release dates is really just pointless.
I doubt it was a "bad copy" either, because those aren't something that can be caused by the disc printing process. You likely just didn't notice, or got lucky; if you visit the UBISOFT forums, you'll see how many people are pissed about the game.
ALL Japanese RPGs are repetive, unimaginative, and boring. Anyone who expects this game to be any better (other than graphically) than "a PS2 rpg", as the writer suggests....is a tad naive.
