1.) This has been known/rumored for well over a year now, along with the partnership with Direct TV. MS isn't "desperate"...they'v e been planning numerous add-ons to the functionality of LIVE/Marketplace from DAY ONE.

What I don't get, is how MS could have allowed that POS game, Totemball, to be released. It was so pathetic, it was pointless to even bother with. As the first game to showcase the motion sensitivy feature of the camera, it failed in the worst way imaginable.

You OBVIOUSLY don't understand that this game has ALWAYS BEEN multiplatform. The reports of last year's E3 demo running on a 360 were in fact true, as were all of the other rumors over the past year+ of it coming to PC and 360 as well. To be honest, I think it was MICROSOFT who engineered the delayed announcement, and NOT SONY. If you look at how/when it was announced (right before the TGS) AND the fact that MS got to be the first to show actual gameplay running on it's console....NOT SO...
...I was thinking about the PS2 version. :|
Oh well, Sony fans won't mind, as long as they've got MGS. ;) It's funny though, that at X06, when they announced that SC5 would be 360 exclusive, they didn't bother to mention that SC:DA wasnt' coming to the PS3 either. I suppose they didn't want to come off as TOO smug. :p

...loyal to Japanese products, to a fault. MS could give away Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, AND Dead Rising, and they STILL couldn't sell the 360 in Japan.
I really wish MS would just forget Japan, and concentrate on the rest of the globe. Sony really only cares about Japan, U.S. and Europe.

SC:DA is multi-platform...the PS3 version will suck as well, trust me.
Lost Planet's demo is all the proof anyone needs that this game will be awesome. It came out back in the spring, and looked/played like a AAA title even then. IMO, it's waaaay more fun than any of the RE games, or even Dead Rising.
Think about it, dude.
- The guy could lose his job for telling me that; in all honesty, it just kinda "slipped out" when we were talking.
- The UT franchise has ALWAYS been on the PC....it was EXCLUSIVE to that platform, until the PS2/XBOX. There's no way in hell this game is going to be more than a timed exclusive for the PS3. Being ported to the 360 is just a no-brainer as well. Epic isn't run by idiots.
- If you believe it's never coming...
Shoe: I predict Resistance will be less clichéd than Gears.
Luke: God, Gears is like every sci-fi cliché wrapped up in a fraternity filled with empty beer cups.
R:FOM isn't full of cliches?! OMFG...here's a short list:
- Humanoid/alien enemies
- Sci-fi shooter story with little new to offer(and yes...the "alternate timeline HAS been done)
- Varied class/size enemies, including small Alien "face-hugger" types.
