...since it never had an official release date to begin with. Just like with Gears of War, this game will ship when it is 100% done and flawless, and not a day sooner. Besides, more time, means a higher likelihood of them working on PS3/360 versions. ;)
...to see someone waste such awesome psychic powers, on such mundane things. This jackass could win the Lotto, and buy a small island for himself. :|
Since 90% of the PC market uses a MS OS and runs Windows-based software apps...MS essentially IS a "vendor". Factor that into their plans for ZUNE, and expanding on the XBOX platform with a proprietary chipset in the next console, and MS is quickly becoming even more of a juggernaut in the industry.
Sony is TRYING to compete with DELL......but BOTH companies are giving $$ to MS in the process. Sony can't compete with MS in this market...which was my whole point.
It's f***ing $10 for PC/360 owners, and the PS3 crowd gets it FREE! F*** you, Bethesda...I'm done forking over $$ to your greedy asses.
Here's my list:
1.) Beyond Good & Evil 2
2.) Thief 4
3.) Crimson Skies 3
4.) Ico 2
5.) Condemned 2
6.) Chronicles of Riddick 2
7.) Deus EX 3
7.) Perfect Dark 2 (Zero didn't cut it)
8.) Red Faction 3
9.) Smuggler's Run 3
10.) Primal 2
The 360 is perfectly capable ,hardware/software-wise of doing the same things...but MS chose not to go that route, for now.
The REASON for that is simple...MS has a much larger stake in the PC market, so trying to market the 360 as a hybrid console/PC, like the PS3, would be counterproductive and stupid.
Instead, MS is focusing more on the connectivity, via 'Live Anywhere', of PCs, 360s, cell phones, PDAs...and soon ZUNE. It's a much broader approach than what Sony is doing (w...
...but read my above post for a likely explanation.
Basically, if you take away the old rehashes, they don't have much. Factor in that most of the 3rd party games they have, will also be on 360 and PS3, and it's a mediocre lineup, at best.
It's "To be continued..."! :(
...hurry up and dump that load of crap on as many formats as possible.
Damn, that movie sucked hairy donkey balls. :o
With Linux and a standard HDD, that the user can swap with ANY brand, the PS3 will quickly become a modder's dream machine.
...for unscrupulous business practices. It's bad enough that they churn out mediocre-to-pathetic games on a regular basis; it's 10x worse that they want people to pay EXTRA $$ for even more crap....THAT SHOULD BE IN THE GAME ALREADY!
Burnout Revenge was an XBOX port, with a little HD polish. Alot of people had already played the game months prior.
And yes, I know there will be other bundles...I'm simply pointing out the crappiness of these bundles.
...because FREE crap that nobody wants, is pointless and worthless. If you took either of those games, unopened, to EB or Gamestop, they MIGHT give you $15.00.
By comparison, the bundle deal I got from Sam Goody at launch, saved me over $100...and I got to PICK the 2 games that I wanted.
You can't expect "next-gen" games from last-gen ports...unless you're a moron.
Basically, you're paying full retail for the 360, and getting a game you could buy used for $15-$20 now...or rent for a week for $6-$8. Nobody is buying these games, so they use them to give the illusion that you're getting a $60 discount...when you're really not getting ANYTHING.
If you want to move consoles, bundle them with the hottest titles...plain and simple. Oblivion, Gears of War, Dead Rising, SC:DA (didn't like it, but it'll sell well)...hell, even COD2 or a new Madden/NBA...
... I thought Ken Kutaragi was God. Who knew? :|
2/3 of those 62 games, are old games....either VC downloadables, or rehashes of games that have been out for quite a while.
...they were submitted here over a week ago. :O
That's the sound of 800 million Europeans crying out, after getting raped by Sony, ONCE AGAIN. :|
Halo 2 holds the record for most $$ made in the first day for ANY MEDIA FORMAT....music, movies, games...EVERYTHING. Of course, at $50 a pop, it really wasn't fair to make that distinction, but it was true nonetheless.
