People are selling them for a couple GOOD reasons:
1.) The PS3 will have the worst list of launch titles since the PS2; Blu-Ray movie availability isn't much better. For the first few months, the PS3 will be a $600 paperweight, at best.
2.) Because of shortages, the demand will automatically go through the roof, as will the street value. Anyone with any sense at all, knows they'd be better off selling for a nice profit....perhaps even doubling their money. Then, the...
The 360 version was a piece of sh*t, and it was ALSO delayed from a day-1 launch....SIX MONTHS. I seriously doubt they'll make the December target.
This game was essentially a 360 port, with a few more maps and cars.
But I also never said the game was "old". It's just that it's been out for nearly a month, as have the reviews; reviews are typically posted prior to a game's release, or shortly thereafter.

The fact is, it simply isn't worth $60....it's not doing much with the 360 assets, so they shouldn't charge the extra $10. Sure, plenty of devs have been guilty of the same...but I've been equally upset with them. Raven took the easy way out, using a 5 y.o. engine, in a game that's identical, gameplay wise, to both XML games....on a next-gen console.
The best compliment I can pay the game...

The stop-n-pop cover system and gameplay is so much more innovative than anything that's been tried in a shooter before. People who say "Kill.switch did it first", are morons....that game was boring, and the cover system wasn't even NECESSARY. With Gears, you WILL DIE...within MINUTES... if you try to play it like any other shooter.

Sony hasn't had a decent (exclusive) shooter, since Red Faction....6 YEARS ago, so they were due one. But, R:FOM is in no way a "killer app". COD2 wasn't considered to be a killer app, and I can GUARANTEE you R:FOM will never touch it's sales #s.

I think it's between 15-20 now.
1.) The GT series is one of the most overrated gaming series in history. NONE of the games are actually "sims", because NONE have ever had damage, or realistic physics (sorry, but if you don't have damage, you CAN'T have realistic physics)
2.) There's so much more going on with a game like Forza 2, with full damage, physics, particle effects, etc., that 60 fps is a MUCH greater achievement, than with GT4/5 or even the PGR games. You also have to consider the virtua...
1.) The 360 COULD NOT HAVE the XBOX chipset in it, because MS parted ways with Nvidia (and Nvidia in turn went to work with MS rival, Sony).
2.) Since they only had the rights to that chipset for the licensed "XBOX" name/product, they couldn't include it in the 360 without permission, and/or a new contract with Nvidia. Since they were already "sleeping with the enemy", that wasn't happening. Nvidia would only "lease" MS access to source code to all...
Simple...it means that there are FAR more stupid Sony fanboys, than there are any other type of gamers. :)
