My wife and I got into gaming together with the PS1 (Tetris mainly)and PS2 (Ico, Primal, Drakkan: The Ancient's Gates). We then went hardcore, with the XBOX, enjoying Morrowind, Fable, Jade Empire, Voodoo Vince, Beyond Good & Evil and Thief:DS together. With the 360, we've spent well over 300 hrs, between Oblivion, Kameo, Tomb Raider Legend, and Hexic (we've actually probably spent better than 50 hours on Hexic alone).
I think the couple that games together, stays toge...
I STILL play the original demo....the mechs are just too damn sweet.
Gears of War is like Condemned, RE4, Halo 2, DOOM 3 and COD2, all rolled into one....taking the best aspects of each, and incorporating them into one awesome experience. The thing is NOTHING is 100% original/innovative anymore...NO-THING. Nintendo can't even take credit for the Wiimote, nor Sony for the SuxaxiS; MS had BOTH technologies, many years ago.
People need to be comparing this to WOW, and not G.O.W. But, it still looks awesome...better than 90% of the games on the market today. This makes WOW look like a f***ing PS2 title (in fact, it kinda does anyway). :o
...no it won't......not one bit. If MS feels there's a need/demand for it on the 360, it will be extremely easy to add. Sony is just desperate to make the PS3 look like a PC....which it will NEVER be.

...considering Fight Night Rd. 3 has some of the most realistic characters AND movements of any game ever made. These comments, combined with the bullsh*t about Gears not being innovative, are truly bizarre.
You just can't f*cking count....plain and simple. Go back to 1st grade, you ignorant jackass, and learn to count to 10....which is the # of enemies I've seen on screen at times, so far.
...we'll see a restructuring of the SKUs, and possibly even a third one added, with a 60-80GB HDD, and HD-DVD bundled with it for $600. I have no doubts that the 20GB premium will eventually (soon) become the "core" (possibly do away with that label), and maybe have a new "premium", with the 60-80GB HDD for $400.

...but I do hope they improve the options to allow for 1-on-1 matches. That's my favorite thing with COD2....sneaking around a large level, hunting each other down.

...the PC/360 crowd was also in denial, when it was first rumored Oblivion wouldn't make launch after all.
...we didn't complete a single mission from the main quest, until about 50 hours in. IMO, that's the best way to enjoy such a game...just play it your way, with no real agenda, and build your stats/attributes so you'll be well prepared. We were invincible, by the time we were near the end of the main quest. :D
Wow....I cannot BELIEVE they forgot about Elveon; that game will be one of next year's best looking titles, and is yet another 360 exclusive. Sadly, nobody cares about these other games. :|

Sony will delay even LONGER in Europe, to satisfy demand in Japan. If there are any more problems with diodes, or other component mfg/supply, Europe won't see the PS3 until mid-late 2007.
