@mrv321 and @SpartanGR - Your not going to have just one developer working on a game. So it comes down to how much budget is allocated for what. A good game designer will cost you, as will a good graphics, physics, and sound team. Point is both can be achieved (KZ2, FF, Crisis GW, GOW) if they are willing to pay for them.
ATI aren't really known for writing the best drivers.
Not sure how a site like that got approved. Next time DMason save us the trouble don't post the site or post the full story here so we don't have to go there.
I would like to see RTS utilize Natal. I really think RTS have been underserved by consoles, mainly due to lack of mouse, controller just doesn’t cut it. Selecting arms would be a whole lot easier and moving around would be great. Plus adding in voice would be killer. Simple arcade games like Chess, Checkers would also work really well with this type interface. Sword fighting style games would also be really cool. Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy or Force Unleashed like Tony P said totally cool. Sta...
When did a poll of two games before they are released start deciding the quality of the game, CNet and its poor journalism adding to fanboy drama. Silly for Turn 10 to take part in this agreed.
I think a common misconception is linking each of the companies’ goals together. Sony and Nintendo’s view for the motion control strictly revolves around games. For Nintendo the motion control is really the main appeal of the system making it a novelty and a topic of conversation to anyone that comes over, and it has that fitness type posh appeal to it (I game but I don’t just sit there with a controller I move around so somehow I’m cooler).
Sony views it more like there is a p...
The way I look at it is competition is good. I'm not here to say who is better but I will say both are obviously at the top of the list. So in the spirit of true competition this rivalry will advance the genre and each franchise, in the end gamers will win.
@Raiinstorm81 - umm none of us have really seen a Next Gen GT team, demos don't count.
Agreed Turn 10 needs to shut up. Sit back and let their game do the talking. Good to be happy, bad to brag.
If this is so true why are they trying to add features seen first in Forza? Such as damage? Let's not forget GT series has the 300+ mph; even if you did the same mods you couldn't do that in real life.
I'm a fan of GT have been but all this talk from them and no release of a game...Ticks me off as a fan, and until I see the actual game I will be playing Forza 3. No point in waiting another 4 plus years.
@ZuperAmazingCooKie
That’s what the Take 10 is talking about. GT3 to GT4 now really new features to the game, can consider it a EA yearly Madden update. Yes, we got new cars and new tracks for GT4 but you expect to get more cars and tracks each release, just like you expect to get updated players in Madden. Next don’t give me that BS of that’s all they could do on the PS2. They could have added damage then… My GTA cars had damage and countless other games had car damage.
Can I please get the mins of my life i spent reading that article back?
The way I look at it is this. If it is a fake, this will go down as a huge PR issue for Microsoft and it will be years for them to recover their creditability with gamers and media. Not to say since this is geared toward casual gamers the most this would almost kill that market for them.
Now on the other hand say that this is true and will be working, Microsoft just signed themselves major sales. Not they also said this would be out in 2010, so that gives MS 1 year 1/2 at most ...
@Richdad
Clearly you don’t know your development teams. The creator Peter Molyneux's known for things like Black and White, Fable, all games that are remnant of the type of A.I. he showed with the character on the screen. No different then what he has been doing with games. Just because you can’t conceive of something in your mind or have reached you limits for thoughts, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist or can’t be done.
You can't get a patten on things you c...
Microsoft takes E3 very serious, and if they bring it out there you know that's what gamers can expect. Microsoft said it themselves they like to be on the conservative side tell you at the minimum what you can expect and try there hardest to over deliver.
Its two days after and I can’t wait till next year when this comes out. I will have it day one.
No diss but Sony wasn't that energetic, the speakers were boring, almost like a death by power point. The upcoming game trailers were the best part for Sony, and it got a little weird with the MG one in the box WTF man. The motion control Sony came with while everyone was giving it props I wasn’t feeling it. After seeing natal it was just a better Wii controller. I honestly thought PSP was going to be boring but I’m actually excited about the PSP GO, good job there from Sony. They tried to s...
There are so many games they can make with this. Star Wars, being a Jedi using this would rock. Any sword fighting game, football game, RPG's. Fighting games...
It's crazy how many people hate the fact a Metal Gear game would come to the 360.
@blindfromthesun - Your right price cut for Fall/Holiday; that would be the best bang for Sony's buck.
Now to get everyone to reduce the price of new games.
Why am I not surprised, we get Disagree because we want to play part two of a game. LOL
Ok many maybe right about the physics but can you give us a source for what video you watched so we can make a judgement? Logically I have no clue how you know a car is going 180 mph, I have not seen a video that indicated the speed. Now the whole bumper size scale thing, ok that's just getting ridiculous. First off the real picture and the in game photo you don't know at what depth and resolution each picture was taken. Completely silly to try to do an on screen measurement of two pictures w...
