Agreed! I'm liking the colours, especially.
I'm hoping that Epic will port Gears 2 and 3 to PC, eventually =/ Maybe with that shiny, updated engine they were flaunting :P
Then again, that would overshadow the 360's version, which MS and Epic wouldn't want happening.
This game is still incredible. If there's a game that should be remade using Epic's latest engine, it has to be this. Imagine Deus Ex with the graphics from the Samaritan video!
I really hope Human Revolution has some of the depth Deus Ex had.
The first sequence in the bar was incredible. After playing the demo I immediately went out and bought the game.
Cannot wait for Prey 2! :D
Bioshock has always been about extreme ideologies and locations.
I think Infinite fits perfectly into the core idea of Bioshock. :)
" . . . though Epic Games’ Mark Rein believes that further optimisation will enable the effects to run smoothly on NVIDIA’s mid-range GTX 560 Ti graphics card."
I really hope they can actually pull that off at a good framerate / resolution!
Can't wait to see Carmack working on some DX11/12 titles.
Good. Once DICE shows people how it's done, other devs will want/have to improve.
Result: Better games for everyone.
"They're using the same engine, the same recipe for building a game. At some point you need to take that leap. I haven't seen them take that leap since a long time ago."
I wonder which series that's directed to ;)
Looks hilariously campy. I like.
I absolutely cannot wait until Skyrim! It'll last me for a loooooooong time.

There is a $600US build that could be for you :) As £500 is around $800US, you'd be able to upgrade some things, such as the graphics card and/or CPU. :)
Another great racer for PS3 owners :)
Epic said they could probably optimise this to run on one 580.
Cannot wait to see how devs will use this engine. Hopefully they'll be creative, as it can actually look great and unique.
Bioshock is easily my favourite new IP of this generation. Followed closely by Mass Effect.
I cannot wait for this, Levine is great!
I hope so, because at the moment it's a cumbersome turn-off.
MS should look at what Steam does right and work from there.
Link is REALLY green now.
Red Dead at 1080+, detailed texture mods and anti-aliasing would be a thing of beauty.
If it's ever released on PC, hopefully it's not a lame unoptimised port.
"I installed graphic intensive games such as The Sims 3, Doom 3 and the latest Call of Duty. On my PC, which was in fact built for gaming, could only play these games at lower resolution setting and only with lowering graphic options also.
The Mac however could play these games at native speeds, with resolution and graphic settings maxed out."
Look at those state of the art benchmarks! :O
What a terrible article. This was either wri...
I honestly thought I put in "some of the best" in there.
Edited ;D Thanks.
You're allowed to take your time when you release some of the best games in the industry.
I understand what you mean, but an engine doesn't always dictate how a game will play. Gears of War doesn't play like Mirror's Edge, nor does it play like Bioshock, and it certainly doesn't play like the Batman: Arkham series. All these titles are running on the Unreal engine, yet none of them look alike.
Art direction is where it all matters.
The detailed lighting and reflections in the Samaritan video impressed me quite a bit, so I'd say...
