TF2 (PC) has had stuff like this for quite a while now. The console versions are still vanilla TF2.
There's no classic multiplayer. Only 6 multiplayer maps for Reach, and one firefight map. Sucks for the people who've been wanting CE online for 10 years D:
You were right, it doesn't work like that. You should never go by clock speed alone. A 2Ghz Sandy Bridge cpu is MUCH faster than a 2GHz Athlon x4 cpu.
The charm of CE to me was the precise balance and flow of the multiplayer gameplay and core game mechanics, something which cannot be emulated on Reach through simple gametype editing.
The remake could still have splitscreen and LAN support, but if people can't organise that, then online would be the next best thing.
If they don't want the community to be broken up, then they should focus on making games that will keep people playing them. I hope they...
So disappointed that there's no true original multiplayer. The biggest addition to the original would have been online multiplayer, a thing people have been asking for since the inception of Xbox Live.
I hope an online-enabled CE multiplayer is made in the next few years.
I thought it was phenomenal. The pacing built some great tension for the inevitable battle.
Next gen is here.
Agreed, that was just plain embarrassing for non-Kinect fans.
My reaction to Microsoft's E3 conference: http://i52.tinypic.com/v2wv...
I will laugh my ass off if Nintendo's conference is full of hardcore games on their new console.
More like Nintendo 64 technology (Hey You, Pikachu).
Too many quick time events for my liking. I'm looking forward to seeing some different combat, though.
These games sound so promising. Definitely the zombie games I've been waiting for!
Far Cry 2 had the potential to be an absolutely amazing game. Unfortunately some key game design choices made it repetitive and just irksome.
It's been three years since it was released, so I hope they've taken their time to work out all of the problems.
Same. Gearbox has done a great job dealing with this. I have lots of respect for them.
It wasn't an exclusive. It was also coming to PC.
Quite different from the original, but daaaaaaaamn that was some slick trailer.
Not to belittle the graphics, because they're great for handhelds, but it's hard to see anything bad in pictures sized 500x281.
I cannot wait.
Playing Metro 2033 maxed out (minus advanced DOF) already looks insane. I think it looks like pre-rendered CGI during some combat moments when the motion blur and particle effects are being showcased.
Love it.
There was a preview event and the embargo is now up.
As in, those who suscribe have no brains.
Agreed on the improvements. Those reflections are awesome. I can't wait to see some nighttime screenshots with these updates.
