Killzone 2, hardcore? Try Quake or CS.
Go play against the best players in the world and say it's not skilled based.
Totally agree SOAD. Bungie has been ahead of the rest in terms of customization (hell, even party systems) since Halo 2.
Here's to hoping it gets a do-over with current tech.
I don't really care, because the damage / cutting system looks amazing.
In a recent update Bungie said that the AI drivers are the best they have ever done in a Halo game.
We'll have to wait and see :)
SOAD, I respectfully disagree (at least in terms of CE's multiplayer).
Halo 1's multiplayer was pretty much perfect.
People say the pistol was overpowered, but when you think of it in terms of the weapon sandbox in CE, it was perfect. It was a utility weapon that worked in most situations, yet other weapons (shotguns, plasma rifles, sniper, etc) worked better in each of their environments. Alongside this, the pistol was NOT easy to use. Getting a 3 s...
I think bosses don't really work out in Halo.
The warthog runs at the end of Halo 1 and 3 were much better than a boss battle.
The scarabs were insanely fun in 4 player legendary co-op, though.
I mean, when the left thumbstick is moved to the right, and the right thumbstick is moved to the left my thumbs touch each other.
Hacker, according to your disagrees, you will NOT be buying it day 1!
I (unfortunately) never had a PS2, so I'd love if I was able to play the classics for the first time in HD.
How about the developers focus on making games GOOD before even thinking about motion controls or 3D? These things do not save bad games.
So you're saying that the Official PlayStation Magazine dislikes Sony?
wat
Definitely agree upon the D-Pad being the best. But the analogue sticks are too close for me, my thumbs always touch each other D:
I'm actually suprised at the amount of Halo 3 love in these comments, and I agree. This game came out in 2007 and the amount of customisation available for the multiplayer game (and campaign, which had skulls) has yet to be surpassed on consoles . . . that is, until Reach comes out ;)
And let's not forget that Bungie is still supporting the game, with playlist updates and double xp weekends, etc. Seeing that Alien vs Predator will be losing it's multiplayer suppor...
Nathan Drake is just a murdering thief who happens to be in two brilliant games :P
I hope they have a lot of gametype customisation available. This has definitely been one of the best things about the Halo games that a lot of other shooters have been lacking.
I have both consoles and I'm not interested in either. The games utilising both motion control systems just don't look as enjoyable than the games I can play with a controller.
I agree in a sense. Whilst ODST's campaign was short, 4 player co-op Firefight DEFINITELY makes up for it.
Sackgirl, that's your opinion. Technically, the graphics are very well done, but people like different art styles, so it can't really "demolish" every other game.
The same can be said for gameplay.
(This comes from someone who greatly enjoyed Uncharted 1 & 2.
