Does the handbook really encourage people to talk to each other in the bathroom?
*shudder*
I don't care if Gabe wants to tell me about Half-Life 3, it can wait until we're both out in the hall.
Hindsight being what it is, it's pretty easy to look back and say a bad sequel wasn't needed...
And yeah, Bioshock 2 was nothing special but Infinite is sort of a sequel, right? And that's gonna be amaaazing.
Hmm. One of the biggest things I remember from 6th grade is that I wore a Pokemon t-shirt on the first day.
So yeah, I was probably cool enough.
Fez and Sword & Sworcery are great, but I haven't played as much of either as I'd like...
I think the issue with Metacritic is less that it exists and more the importance that people put on it. It's crazy that people's jobs can depend on something as simple as a Metacritic score.
This sounds pretty interesting...despite all the shady stuff you hear about Rockstar, they're still one of my favorite studios.
Is anyone else getting sick of Kickstarter?
I'd say we're months (if not weeks) away from our first big Kickstarter controversy...like a game people funded gets cancelled and backers get upset, or someone scams people and runs off with their money. It's gonna happen.
I didn't play the last one (or any of the pre-Xbox ones) but this looks really slick. Definitely gonna check it out.
Are there even 999 words in the game? It sure doesn't feel like it.
*draws "fruit" for the 100th time*
A nice article.
I think the "Are games art?" debate is one of the most over-beaten dead horses in this whole industry.
There does seem to be an increase in the number of games that *aren't* about killing things, at least. Hell, Portal and Portal 2 were pretty huge games and niether had any actual killing. I think it's just a matter of more devs trying out new ideas.
QR CODES! Oh, I get something now. Be right back, gotta go boot up my xbox and pretend I'm not as stupid as I feel.
Huh...I guess it's one of those things where they seem a lot longer when you're actually watching it, since you'd usually rather be playing.
But no matter what, I'll defend Snake Eater TO THE DEATH. I love that game.
What's wrong with What The Fast?
Or is it What The Fuckast?
I guess it could be a variation of "WTG" for "way to go", so it is like "way to fast" or "way too fast" which sounds...a lot better, actually.
Snake Eater had some amaaaazing boss fights. A few of them are really straightforward, but the two the article mentions, The End and The Sorrow, are really cool.
I would love one of these stupid things, but they always looks sooooo shady.
"I mean, somehow gamers who bought the console version of the game don't have a right to complain about a new PC version getting additional levels"
Do people complain when they buy a car and next year's model comes in more colors?
If people don't like something, all they have to do is not support it. If GFWL is such a big deal that it will ruin the game for someone, then they shouldn't buy the game. They also shouldn't take t...
I didn't play all that much of the older games, but this looks pretty rad.
Damn, video games used to be so cool. Those screenshots of Punisher on the bus are like, the best.
This game needs some kind of Excitbike-inspired level. That would awesome.
Unless it has one and I just don't know about it...in which case, I bet it's awesome.
