Always love seeing Kuribo's Shoe represented.
Indie devs do seem to usually have great customer service (for lack of a better term), but I think a lot of this also falls on the openness allowed by Twitter.
I once gave a speech in college about how Twitter would destroy mankind (it was purposely hyperbolic) but even as someone who isn't a big fan I will concede that that's one of its best qualities.
I don't mind reboots in theory, and Starbreeze has a pretty darn solid track record...I think Syndicate might be really good.
My big problem with it is that the HUD always looks extremely busy...but that's not the world's biggest issue. I'm excited to play it though.
And those accounts being hacked are accounts being hacked. Not Xbox Live.
The headline of this article makes it sound like this is on par with the PSN hack, which it doesn't seem to be. It's a little fear-mongery.
Some people having their accounts hacked doesn't exactly equal Xbox Live being hacked, a la PSN, does it?
One of my favorite things about Skyrim is that it will sometimes change what characters say or how they will react to you based on race.
Something as simple as a guard saying "I've got my eyes on you, elf." despite being probably-racist (the guards are all pricks) adds so much to the realism of Skyrim as a place.
They most certainly do.
DUNMER PRIDE.
I'll love any article that discusses the greatness of the moment in Red Dead Redemption when you first get to Mexico.
So incredibly great.
I think the trick here is growing up. If you're really concerned about what people might think if you play Mario or whatever, then just wait until you realize that it doesn't and shouldn't matter.
Your implication seems to be that games like Skyrim aren't deserving of their good scores, right?
It's not like a game critic is playing a different version of the game than the public is...and just because some people are running into major bugs doesn't mean everyone is. Anecdotally, the worst bug I've seen in Skyrim is water sometimes becoming invisible, so from my perspective Skyrim is completely deserving of its good scores.
I'm gettin...
#7 is where it's at. Just a really cool looking scene.
I think we can all agree that Bruce WIllis survived the transition looking the best.
I remember realizing the Stormcloaks were dicks just like the Imperials...it was pretty surprising, and it has pretty much stopped me from continuing either faction's quest line.
Haha
Buh-zing!
People are always eager to get their I-told-you-sos out there, so it's not all that surprising that everyone's ready to declare the Vita a failure. Doesn't this sort of thing happen with almost every system?
7/10 Nailed it.
Except that's like a C...
I really need to listen to this episode of TAL. This is such a big issue that it seems like most people don't even really have an idea of what we could/should do....
I can't decide if I'm jealous or not that you're even able to make a list of 15...If I took every game I *played* this year (even the not-so-good ones) it'd be like...10 at most.
Yeah, same here. I bought it when it was on sale though, so I'll play it eventually...probably once my Skyrim disc breaks or something.
I assume it's some kind of motor making the shoe hop.
Or it controls the mass effect field that allows the shoe to walk on top of clams.
