Absolutely. I wonder why this game never really made a big splash...people loved Ocarina, but nobody bothered with its direct sequel?
And then Nintendo completely ignores it forever?
Weird.
I was hoping to see some Stunt Race FX. That was game was awesome.*
*Actually, it probably wasn't, but it looked so cool.
#6 seems like the one I'd go with.
Though now that song is stuck in my head....
Absolutely. A game is game. It's stupid to turn your nose up at a Facebook game for being "casual."
Just turn your nose up at it for being a Facebook game. Saves time.
Man, I just love this headline.
Enough with the historically well-regarded games. Let's start dipping into the goofy shit.
I'd totally hang out in Isaac Clarke's creepy garage. We could talk about My Little Pony or whatever.
Okay, since so many classic fighters share these common themes, why not...mash them all up. I wanna see these screenshots made into a real game. None of this one on one or three on three. I want every character vs. every character all the time, I want it to be balanced so there's no unfair combination of fighters. THIS IS ALL POSSIBLE, RIGHT?
Wow, interesting stuff.
Also: I learned a new word. Woo!
Skylanders reminds me of Action Figure Man from The Simpsons.
What I'm saying is I want there to be a level in this game where Spyro takes you to a store and teaches you the best way to ask your parents to buy you more Skylanders.
I kidna liked the new dashboard at first...it's new, which is always nice, and it looks a little flashier, which is also nice.
Then somebody pointed out there's nowhere in the whole thing that doesn't have either ads or links to the marketplace, meaning you're always in their store. Now I can't unsee that, and I hate the new dashboard.
Although: The Netflix is slick. I love that.
I wanted Steel Battalion so bad...I still do, I guess.
Too bad gigantic "realistic" mech controllers never caught on. I would've loved to see this become an entire genre, a la Guitar Hero.
No mention of The Darkness? Best Achievement on my Gamertag is the one you get for hanging out with your girlfriend long enough that she kisses you.
IF ONLY REAL LIFE WERE THAT EXCITING, RIGHT?
I'd love to see these all show up in Skyrim DLC.
Especially #2.
I love all of the Leon/President Evil stuff, but the Gears of Chris part looks a lot less interesting.
I like to think I'm smart enough to not buy a game simply because of a good trailer...but that's almost exactly why I bought Human Revolution.
To be fair though, that original trailer was in-freakin-credible.
DUCK TALES A-WOO-OOO
Something like that.
Also: Good stuff!
Right, but they sort of do important things...Like, "Hey let's all go kill that dragon!" is still something.
I wanna be one of those travelling salesmen walking the wasteland with a mutant cow. "What's that? Some mutants? I wonder if they wanna buy some breath mints." And then I get eaten by mutants! FALLOUT: ONLINE!
This is a really interesting argument, and I think it stems from the idea that "role-playing game" is a really vague name.
I mean, try explaining to someone who doesn't play video games how Final Fantasy and Fallout are the same genre, yet are pretty much nothing alike.
I'd love to see them to do something where not everyone is the savior of the Wasteland. Just...people co-existing in the post-apocalyptic world. I think that would actually be more interesting than your usual MMO stuff where you exist solely to go on bigger and bigger quests.
Do fighting games even do stuff like this much anymore? Seems like it'd be a good way to break up the brevity of modern single-player modes if you threw in a wacky minigame.
