Yay, I can cross that off the list of games I will ever play. 0_0
I believe it was North Pole Tycoon.
Same here, except it's coming out on the two platforms I don't have...so now's not my chance, I guess.
What was that game called that was like Sim City but in a tower? Was it Sim Tower? Cause I'm gonna feel dumb if it was that obvious.
Either way, a Santa would fly by in the background when the date in the game was 12/25, I believe.
Huh, this is a pretty interesting way to look at zombies (AND ZOMBIE-LIKE CREATURES) that I don't think I've ever really considered. I get the tradiaional reasoning for why zombies are scary ("theyre like humans without humanity!") but I've never really thought of what that means when you flip it around...
Man, those Pac-Mans are pretty awesome.
I just love that it still has to be judged for IGF. They say the act of not being able to play it counts as playing it...which is crazy, but it's also so brilliant I hope it doesn't get disqualified.
I have an irrational fear of swimming in video games...So yes, sharks are terrifying.
I'M GONNA HAVE NIGHTMARES NOW.
Can we all agree that they need to bring back ClayFighter?
Ok, good.
My parents bought me Asphalt when I got my regular DS for Christmas however many years ago...Too bad they didn't see an article like this...
This piece mostly deals with RPGs, but has there been any recent setting as good as Rapture?
I honestly can't think of many that were *that* well realized/interesting.
Really great article. I've also bought every Humble Bundle (except for the Frozen Synapse one, I think), but this is the first one where I've actually paid well over the average.
I split the money between the developers and the red cross, I think.
Lots of funny names in the Kinect Fun Labs.
I believe one is called "Googly Eyes" and it has an amazing theme song.
It's a game with zombies in it. That makes it a zombie game as far as I'm concerned. I don't care if it's not Left 4 Dead, it's still a game in which zombies play some sort of large role.
Large meaning they're important to the plot/setting/whatever, even if it's not ten straight hours of zombie shooting or whatever.
And if Naughty Dog is saying "It's not a zombie game, it's a love story!" that's blatant P...
I do trust Naughty Dog to make a good game, but I'm really gonna have to see more than a cool trailer to get interested in another zombie game.
Especially after that last zombie game with a cool trailer...
Goofy title aside, Stealth Bastard looks awesome.
Too bad there's no Mac version.
I'd love to get a Vita, I'm sure it'll be a really rad piece of tech, but I've turned into one of those guys that only plays handheld games on his iPod Touch.
So yeah, I want a Vita just like I want a 3DS...I just don't really wanna pay for them....
One of those Space Invader characters is a cat in a box...It's like Maru: The Video Game!
Also: Video game aliens are horribly disturbing out of the context of the game they're usually found in...Wow.
Those are HILARIOUS.
Why have I not paid more attention to UFC?
Some great stories in there. I love the scheming to wake up early and play PlayStation without sibling interruption, only to be thwarted by stupid Sony's cheapness.
Ah, karma. haha
