Wonderful! Now, tell me about the games that will be exclusive to it?

Have been playing the game since Tuesday. Definitely better than I anticipated. I think this game has the potential for greatness if they can keep the content coming AND keep it so the microtransactions are only for cosmetics and, therefore, unnecessary. It's an easy 9/10 for me so far.
Edit: If we're talking GOTY in the "live" game genre then, yes, it has that potential. But for overall GOTY there are a few ahead of it (Ghost of Tsushima for one) an...
It will be another great addition. My thoughts are with the Boseman family. It's a shame. Chadwick was an outstanding talent and he will be missed.
One quick word about the game. I had pre-ordered the CE (PS4) way back in April when it was announced so I received the game on Tuesday. I had played some of the beta and I was not overly impressed and it tempered my expectations for the game. I am happy to say the beta did NOT do this game justice. It is much more t...
MS stopped production on previous generation consoles. If you ever wanted an MS console and didn't get one your motivation is to buy the new generation console because you won't be able to buy anything else. That is the MS strategy. Whereas Sony will continue to support the PS4 (as they did with the PS3 and PS2) for an extended period into the new generation allowing gamers a lower priced alternative to get into console gaming.
When the PS4 first came out I was against the industry going digital. At the end of the of this generation a majority of my games are digital only. And there is only one simple reason why. It's easier to to jump from one game to another without putting in a different disc. I know, I know it sounds lazy but it is just convenient to be able to jump around the UI and pick anything and instantly start it and not have a bookshelf full of games to sort through. I have 3 PS4s and multiple u...
I think one of the big reasons is because it's coming from a Chinese developer. Now, there are certain things I don't like about China (ahem, censorship re: COD video and a whole bunch of more important things) BUT I can only imagine there are a great number of very talented and artistic people in China who are not well known to the rest of the world. China (the communist party, not necessarily the people) has gotten a well deserved bad reputation for stealing ideas, etc. I have no...
So they would sell less games? Who knows. I think the game should have been called "Gotham Sidekicks: The Batmanless Game No One Wanted". Oh well, maybe it will be good. I wasn't overly impressed with Justice League either.
PS - Yes, I doubt Batman is really dead. I think most of us were expecting to be playing (the majority of the game) as Batman again.
Numbers, numbers but really comparing apples and oranges here. Sony and Nintendo markets certainly overlap but they are not the same. They both do well in their respective markets. MS, no offence, is the one who is going to lose out the most. They're basically trying to create a third overlapping market. We'll see how it goes.
I am playing on High-end settings (one below Ultra) and it is pretty impressive, especially at higher altitudes. Obviously the closer you get things start to look a little janky. But the little runway (long patch of grass) about 1/2 mile from my home is in the game and that is saying something. My house is there. My kids' schools, etc. I took my wife for a flight over the lake we have a camp on in Maine and she was able to identify all of the small islands and coves easily.

And this is where it is not a good deal for PS4/PS5 owners. The upgrade to PS5 is "free" BUT you must put the physical PS4 disc in the PS5 to use the PS5 digital download. The solution is to provide a digital key for the disc in the CE that links the disc to the account that uses the digital download. Then you can have both and Ubi doesn't have to worry about people keeping only the digital code and selling the disc.
Hold up. Not defending Ubisoft here but maybe this is more of an MS issue and not a developer issue. Remember MS has the advertising deal with Ubi for AC Valhalla. Why would Ubi unilaterally decide to pull the physical discs from the Xbox version and not the PS4 version? I honestly think MS is trying to move the industry to all digital and rely on their XCloud thingy. And, the Series S is a digital only system, correct? MS is going to heavily bank on the Series S and it's lower pric...

I understand what you are saying but you have to remember, for the most part, system launches are geared towards early adopters. People like you and me who know we are pre-ordering as soon as we can. It's not intended to target the general population. It's intended to get the Sony base pumped up. In that respect I think it has succeeded. It's a primer for the big news (release date and price).

No, I have a job.
I have close to 500 purchases on PSN in the PS4 era alone. I'm hoping that is enough for a Golden Ticket.
SEI is down, can't log in...

With all due respect... Fuck you China. Oh, and Activision for capitulating to your Chinese masters.
Yeah, it's all about OWL and them using Batman to lure in the rest of the "Knights". I'm sure he is in one of those coffin thingys.

I have an HP Omen with a RTX 2070 and 16gb of ram and it runs well at 4k 60fps on high- end settings.
Sorry, haven't tried ultra yet but I'm thinking I would have to drop to 1080p to keep it running smooth.

MS can use all the help it can get. And, this isn't a big deal unless Sony decides the sell the PS5 without a controller...
Wow. Was NOT expecting this!
