He just likes to downplay the benefits of BC like the rest of the fanboys.
Gamers should be able to have early access if they're willing to pay for it. It's also an nice way devs to bug test. What people should not do is partake in an early access program expecting finished and polished games. That's just foolish.
If you are part of an early access program and expect polished and finished games then you deserve to be judged poorly.
I agree. Sony gets all the love when they do anything pro-gamer and a free pass when they trail behind in certain practices. Sony last generation seemed to pay better fan service to its customers. MS is now the one in that boat. I guess the best deals just come from whoever isn't in first place. It's why we should love competition but it can also make us expect certain things across the board that maybe just aren't reasonable. If it makes money then the business model works regard...
Extra RAM would not have made them powerhouses.
Only if your opinion matches other PS4 fans. They apparently all have massive living rooms or gaming rooms that have room for all previous generation consoles.
Rip the DVD to a disc image and load it into the emulator. The same way people have been playing them on PC for quite some time now. The fact that Sony built the ps2 means they can probably do it even easier than us average folk. But maybe not based on what you think? You think Sony is dumber than the average PC gamer?
Or you could rip your CD's yourself.
These ps2 games aren't enhanced nearly to the same level that we had from DVD to bluray. It would be more like watching a straight VHS copy on bluray and maybe you get the extra features. The games are upscaled not remastered. No code is changing. Huge difference that I think a lot of fanboys aren't understanding.
Remote play is at the OS level. It has nothing to do with modifying the game whatsoever. Trophy support is just scanning changes in the memory at certain points to produce trophy notifications at the OS level.
It's weird I know. It seems that I see all the same news whether I'm browsing under the PS4 or XB1 tab anymore.
Not everyone has room in their entertainment stand to hold all of their previous consoles. Being able to play the old games and current games on one system is a huge convenience. Only one set of controllers. I still have an nes, snes, n64 all with controller but I opt to play the games on my nvidia shield because I only need one little box and controller in my living room. I'm jealous that you have enough room for everything but that's not the case for the vast majority of people.
@Ferrethat22
So you think emulating a machine from 2 generations ago is more impressive than emulation a more recent machine?
They are selling it on all major platforms. Eventually.
Whoa now, they said they're maxing it out. Nobody said anything about efficiency lol
MS is the big bad company though. For some reason they must tread very lightly and can't get away with the same things their competition does.
I think he's talking more where the developer focuses their emphasis. In this case ever since COD4 the emphasis has been focused clearly on the multiplayer, whereas more effort went into the campaigns on the earlier installments.
I'm usually all for the shortening of names, but(t) Ass Creed? lol
So I'm assuming everyone on this site must have photos of them with their console in order to post about said console?
"(bit like Kinect)"
no, you're not a fanboy at all
