This game is giving me sea of thieves vibes in the sense that there is a good base game there, which just needs to be expanded upon with community feedback until it shapes up into something special. If the studio sticks with it, it could end up being something entirely different in 5 years.
I mean, yeah.. if any of these tier options aren't right for you, you can always just buy your games the old fashioned way.
STALKER 2, hollow knight: Silksong and Ark 2 are a few more day 1 on gamepass I believe.

I still plan on purchasing the next xbox that comes out, but I'm deeply rooted in the ecosystem. If you're not, then I absolutely agree. You're better off with a gaming pc.

Isn't xbox also only attending as an exhibitor at gamescom? I dont believe they announced a gamescom showcase event?
The game is in early access, which sony doesn't offer. That's the only reason why it isn't on playstation. It will be on playstation by the the time it officially launches late next year.
Playground games track record is what has me most excited about fable. I never played the old ones though.

I can see an deep Amazon partnership or acquisition of sony for future cloud expansion. I don't expect Google to try again. Apple is interesting too and could acquire sony for their movie rights and gaming division. I can see Google or MS partnering with Nintendo for streaming only should they end up venturing into that area. NVIDIA could shock us all and do something crazy, who knows.
Idk, they still have a lot to show. If they decided to Amp it up this year I could see them having a gamescom showcase to show Everwild, Forza Horizon 6, Contraband, Towerborne, Project Mara, Kilin, Hollow Knight Silk Song. It would be nice to finally hear more about those XGP games like Project Dragon and Project Shaolin? Maybe something COD related, and maybe a couple of smaller surprises.
I can see amazon or apple partnering with or acquiring the Playstation brand. Sony will need to partner up with someone.

MS has been 3rd party for years now, even more so after ABK. They will still have xbox and pc exclusives though. They aren't like EA or Ubisoft because those publishers are fully multiplatform, unlike MS.
